The girl and I want to take a breather and go on an all inclusive vacation. Affordability is key and we'd like to make it a relaxing one that we don't have to plan..just go, eat, drink, and be merry. I've heard about the $500 all inclusive, yadda yadda yadda but I'm not finding a ton. We want to go in March, and I was just wondering i you guys had a good resource on where to find cheap vacations. We're open to Florida, cancun, etc. etc. Just as long as it's sunny and fun
i hear they are practically giving away trips to vegas. i dont know where to look, but shop around. no matter where you go, there is more then one way to get there. vacations are luxuries. their industry is hurting worse then mosts with the recession...more buying power for you.
I keep receiving deals in the mail from a company out of Orlando for a ten day trip for around $269 per person....2 nights in orlando, 3 nights in ft lauderdale, and a 5 day carribbean cruise. They also say they give you a free round of golf, $100 in meal vouchers, and free food/drinks on the cruise. They say it's not a timeshare trip and there will be no sales presentation, but it seems too good to be true. Has anyone actually accepted a deal like this?
Thanks guys, i've been looking over a lot of these. Finding some good deals, but none that I can jump on just yet. Hopefuly next week has some stupid good offers
Booked today.....total for 2 people, all inclusive 6 nights, 5 days, with air from Chicago was $1600 (with all fees and taxes) for Jamaica at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Montego Bay. Its not as cheap as I'd hoped for but after looking at prices I maybe have been targeting too low. Those $399 deals were only for a few days and most came from questionable websites. Most of the $550 deals seemed pretty legit. Booked through cheapcarribban.com and Comparing it to the prices of other trips it's actually pretty cheap. I'll let you know how it goes
Palace resorts in Cancun. People buy up timeshares of memberships there and will sell them on EBay for when they arent using it. Great prices, and you get a few extra member benefits that normal vacationers dont. Basically you get all the good things of owning a timeshare for a week without actually owning it or being pressured to own it or anything. Pretty cool really - the wife and I did that for our wedding and honeymoon. But all inclusive is ALWAYS the way to go, no matter where you go!
Relax, have fun and drink to much! Tip the drink waitresses around pools/beaches and they will stop by all the time to ask you if you want a refill.
If you've been to Miami Beach, you really don't need to see Cancun. It's more the rest of Yucatan i.e., Chichen Itza, Merida, Uxmal, Kaba, Akumal that's really worth seeing.
We booked our all inclusive to Cancun about two weeks ago and we leave in about two weeks. Paid about $1300. It all depends on the time of the year though. We went to Puerto Vallarta in the rainy season about 8 years ago and it was cheap! We booked a week before we left so we got a really good blow out deal. Going in the rainy season really wasn't that bad as it only rained about 2 hours every night. The thunder and lightning storms were beautiful! Have Fun!! Cheers Chris
