Any indication he might try to play better next season? Any indication he knows ILB is one of our top priorities in FA/draft, because he sucks?
I really hope Porter and Crowder are gone next year. I would hire Zach Thomas to be the Phin's LB coach, then draft McClain and maybe Angerer from Iowa in Round 3. Porter justs runs his mouth, and Crowder is just a total waste of money, and YES he is also one of the laziest guys on this team and not a team guy.
Crowder isn't that bad. He'd be a great 4-3 MLB in my opinion. We should be more worried about improving over Ayodele.
It would be almost impossible to not find someone with more upside than Crowder. I know what upsets him about the Porter situation. He figures if a guy with Joey's talent can be shown the door, then he is most certainly outta here!
Why? He's the perfect second inside linebacker in the 3-4. Or rather was going into this season. He played poorly this year, but he's always been a good downhill run defender. Solid yet unspectacular. Now just because he had a crappy year, everyone will completely jump on him however.
It's ridiculous Alex it just seems like there are some players people have to hate on no matter what. Crowder and Ginn come to mind.
Ginn deserves it. I personally like Crowder. Off year no doubt, but he does play next to Ayodele... I think if we got a McClain or Dansby to play next to him, we'd be alright.
