Dante's Inferno

When I get it I'm getting it on PS3. Sooooo many games come out in QTR1 that I am going to have to pass on this one.

It's on my to get list with Bayonetta and Darksiders as games I want to get at release but probably won't.

 

Have you played Beyonetta yet? I can't stand it....

 

Just played Dante's Inferno demo... It's just a God of War clone (seriously copies EVERYTHING), but a seamingly good one for what it's worth lol. I wouldnt pay for it, but i'd play it.

 

I haven't played it, but it's gotten very good early marks from what I've seen. It's supposed to be a lot like Devil May Cry from what I heard, which is a game I like a lot.

 

The only thing it has in common with DMC is over the top action. I think DMC4 was far more playable and enjoyable than Beyonetta.

It's got a ridiculous story that is impossible to understand, and it has a 3 hour long cut scene every 5 minutes. It literally gets annoying that you's get pissed. Kill 3 guys, cut scene. Kill another 4 guys, cut scene. And i was only 2 hours in. There are more cut scenes than MGS4

I know, and I really, really want it. I need to wait though with so many other games coming out. My birthday is at the end of January, maybe my fiance will get it for me.

 

why PS3 ? i just played the demos for bayonetta and dantes. i'll probably get dante's, and pass on bayonetta. it was okay, but cant get everything. darksiders will take me to dantes, and that will lead to GOW3.

anything else good thats out now or soon?

Dante's Inferno just leaked. I'll get it and give it a try... There's really nothing else for me to play lol. Not sold on White Knight Chronicles yet....

 

I played the Dante's demo and thought it was good. I never played more than a few minutes of the God of War series so it's still pretty new feeling to me....although I doubt I could play this game in front of my wife and kid so I don't think I'll be buying it. I probably would if I was single

 

A video game adaptation of a book. This should be interesting.

I think the better term is bastardized version of a book.

Got the game but still havent tried it. I decided to continue my Sons of Anarchy binge

 

i still havent played it... Maybe tonight. You like this better than Darksiders???!?!??!?!

 

I have it pre-ordered for like $38-40, I need to know if I should keep it or not. I'm depending on you guys.

 

I played it a tad and stopped. Getting Bioshock2 has pretty much guaranteed that I may never get back to it.

 

I like this game.

 

from where? i cant find it on amzon under $56

also, i preordered heavy rain. and i ordered it on a debit gift card that is only $50. when will they process it, so i can go and pay the remaining balance. do they wait a while to process preorders?

 

Amazon processes it when an item ships. If you have insufficient funds I am pretty sure they cancel the order (or at least don't tell you you have a balance to pay).
