    I remember that. I don't recall who the player was though. There's about a 95% chance it was someone from Penn State though. Or was before he went to the "all penn state" strategy?

    In the NFL is it broken down by just "Offensive Line" or individual positions?

    There should also be a tender with compensation of the round the player was drafted in. It's the lowest tender. Last I saw it was around 650-750k

    honest question: whats the point of a transition tag if someone can take them anyways without compensation? it just gives you a chance to match it?

    We're going as if a new CBA is agreed upon. So basically guys that are 5-6 year vets that without a CBA who are RFAs... now UFAs. IE guys like Ronnie Brown who were RFAs are now UFAs.

    Basically... it's just an option teams have. They are rarely used in the NFL, last I remember one being used on was Max Starks two or three years ago.
