    Dexter McCluster Q & A

    Read the rest: HERE

** On another note, I had a freshman History class with this guy (I was a jr.). Dude is small, but thicker than your average Joe. Came in under Orgeron. I'll give Orgeron credit, he could sniff out some talent. Guy just was not a good HC. **

I watched him today during senior bowl practices and was quite impressed. He looked very explosive and doesn't seem to shy away from contact despite his size.

I think Mayock expressed that he could go in the second round, but I am not sure if our staff would be willing to take him so high. I would jump on him in the third. Like Mayock said, despite his size he is a born football player.

Yeah, Sparano was totally digging his locks. Did you see that?

Sparano wasn't mic'd, but I swear I thought I saw Sparano ask McCluster if he used Soul Glow....

Unfortunately, I do not think we take him in the 2nd, either (Unless we trade down). I would definitely LOVE to have him on our team, but the biggest issue is, where does he play? Does he play the slot? RB?

He said in his interview he would return kicks and punts, so that's important for any team looking at him. I agree, that he is a football player first with an outstanding skill-set. Super intriguing prospect. He also has experience with the "Wild Rebel".

Like I said, I would love him in a Dolphins uni, but I am afraid we have too many other needs. But, damn, is he a playmaker!

Honestly, and do not bash me for this, but his running style reminds me of Chris Johnson. That is my only comparison. I am not saying he is as fast or anything (though, he might be), but the way that he looks when he runs reminds me of Johnson....
