No surprise, but good news. He was injured and I think was a guy who did his job dependably. I would imagine they told him to stick around and would most likely be rehired. If a LB goes down he will possibly be called up to the roster.
I always thought he was a plus-athlete who just didn't 'get' being a lineback that well but would grow into it. Never really seemed to happen, though. He seemed to be no better last year than in his first NFL game.
