Last time it was close. This time it was no contest. Edgar dominated B.J. Total shutout. When B.J. finally got him on the ground in the fourth, he couldn't do anything with it and Edgar escaped. In the fifth, he got the reversal. Edgar got the better of the standup too. That speed is tough to deal with when you get tired and he just keeps going. Dude just keeps improving. With two wins over B.J., he's truly the man at 155. Gray Maynard is next in line. Really disappointed that Kenny couldn't do anything with him. That fight probably goes five rounds too. Kenny is just a more interesting fighter IMO. Maynard doesn't finish anybody. Oh, and thanks to Randy for defending the MMA mantle. Happened just like you thought it would. Nobody expected that to be any kind of contest, not even Dana. But it had to be done I suppose. Glad it's happened.
I doubt Toney has lost at anything so decisively in his life. I'm sure he's never been choked before, with the way he tapped. The pros, they tap sort of in resignation. Toney tapped like his hand was on fire. And how about Nick Diaz putting Marcus Davis to sleep? Davis went out like a man. Didn't tap. It looked like professional wrestling when Yves Lavigne checked Davis' arm three times before pulling Diaz off. Diaz still good on the ground.
yeah but the guy who impressed me the most was fighting early in the night white guy shaved head, cant remember his name but a young jid who is going to be good just dominated his oponent
You mean Joe Lauzon? He looked and is really good. Just hasn't broken through. His previous fight he got dominated by Sam Stout. And Kenny put him out a couple before that. Still pretty young though. I actually saw him submit somebody here in Tampa last year.
