Pull up an overstuffed leather chair. Light up a pre-embargo Habano and pour yourself a nice Cognac. We've earned it.
I agree with Griddles. This club already has much better company than some of the other clubs I've seen here ...
I don't get the specific reference, but hilarity must ensue following any comparison between me and a religious wacko like Robertson.
What..no rum? And what cigars are we smoking on Nabo? I prefer a Macundo Portofino.with some vanilla lemon wafers..and who is working the barbecue pit?
I have a nice Pampero here just for you. The Macanudo is a nice, mild smoke; but I have several Clear Havanas made around 1906-1917 that you might enjoy.
I'm a mild cigar afficiendo my friend, they would be lost on me. Now some nice slow cooked pork with some fresh rolls and sunshine and shade..now we are conversing. No dominos though, gotta be Gin or pinocle or poker.
All the Clears that I have were originally mild cigars to begin with; over one hundred years of aging has only mellowed them nicely.
I'm making some Cuban-style puerco again before it gets too hot. I play poker, but only old-school; none of this pansy Texas ****.
Ah, with frijoles con cobayos? Some nice fresh pan, mixed fruit, maybe some flan or rice pudding. I played 5 card stud, 1 down 4 up, pot limit. Turn the baseball game on in the background back in the day that would be a Yankee game with the Scooter.
Cubanos were not know for the humbleness Nabo... I looked for Poder Vivir, that was such a fat sounding song..
How do these look, Padre? 1906: 1917: 1910: 1909: 1926: 1942 (George Burns was probably smoking some exactly like these): 1920s-1940s:
