okay so you develop the kid and let him find himself
    what is the problem
you move the vet Will allen in and work on the future of the football team
I don't want to see smith on the bench and most would im sure agree
he was put on the isle as a rook
    dont throw him away yet

Who says anything about throwing him away? Nnamdi Asomugha was on the bench for three year before he started. Same type of player, man. I'm just saying, let Will Allen play out his contract while Smith learns and then start the kid, unless Smith gets so good he just surpasses Allen.

a lot will depend on match-ups. offenses are playing 3-WR sets so much these days that a nickel back is basically a starter. as to who's #2 and NB depends on whether the opponents' #2 WR is a quick and agile guy (then Will Allen) or a bigger guy (Sean Smith).
