    1. Chris Long, Virginia
    Height: 6-4. Weight: 284.
    40 Time: 4.73.
    Projected Round: Top 5 Pick.
Chris Long, who can play end in the 4-3 and possibly nose guard in the 3-4, had 57 tackles and five sacks in 2006. Son of former NFL star and current FOX analyst Howie Long.

    2. Chris Williams, Vanderbilt
    Height: 6-6. Weight: 315.
    40 Time: 5.13.
    Projected Round: 1-2.
Co-captain of Vanderbilt's football team, Chris Williams simply doesn't allow sacks. His 40 at his size is remarkable.

    2b. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Tennessee State
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 182.
    40 Time: 4.37.
    Projected Round: 2.
A tall corner who runs a 4.3 is pretty rare. Getting one that picks off six passes in a season is like finding the Loch Ness Monster.

    3. Caleb Campbell, SS, Army
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 223.
    40 Time: 4.47.
    Projected Round: 3-4.
You have to love the 40 that comes with Caleb Campbell's size. Given his background, I think we can assume that he has a great work ethic.

    4. Kendall Langford, Hampton
    Height: 6-6. Weight: 294.
    40 Time: 4.92.
    Projected Round: 3-4.
Recorded eight sacks in 2006. Can play defensive end in a 3-4 as well

    6. Brad Cottam, Tennessee
    Height: 6-8. Weight: 270.
    40 Time: 4.68.
    Projected Round: 6.
A monstrous tight end with decent size, Brad Cottam could be the best blocker at his position in this class.

    7. Kerry Brown, Appalachian State
    Height: 6-6. Weight: 310.
    40 Time: 5.16.
    Projected Round: 7.
Kerry Brown has played against low competition, but he was named to the All-Southern first team in 2006 for his services at left guard.

I love DRC and believe with time he could be a heck of a corner. Hes got size but is pretty Raw. My only problem with your mock is after the first 2 picks theres alot of questions. All small school guys and injury risks. I do like everyone you have listed but question the talent level they have played. DRC and Caleb Cambell may be a little high but all these players could become players just to much iffy picks for my taste

who do you guys think dominique rodgers cromartie compares too? I just went on nfldraftwatch.com and they compared him to mike rumph. we all know how he turned out, is he really like him? this is what it says on DRC

    * Pros: Great athletic ability and ball skills, does great in zone coverage.

    * Cons: Poor competition. Somewhat raw. Really shies away from contact and doesn’t play the run.

    * Pro Comparision: Probably Mike Rumph is the closest guy to his skill set - not saying he’ll turn out like Rumph, but they have similar strengths and weaknesses.

    * Best Situation: Going to a defense focused around zone coverage with a strong linebacking corps and defensive line. The less he’s called on against the run, the better.

    * Drafted in round: 3. Barring a great combine/Senior Bowl, no one would take him early based on his competition, but no one would take him later based on skill.

Good job Swampy I noticed the big guy theme. I don't think Cromartie will be there late 2nd though.
