Pro Football Talk reports the Seahawks have come to terms with franchised CB Marcus Trufant on a six-year contract worth $50.2 million.

The deal includes $20 million in guaranteed money, and will pay $28 million over the first three years and $34 million over the first four. It also includes a $3 million 2010 roster bonus that is guaranteed for skill and injury, which basically makes the first three years guaranteed. Trufant is just the second franchise player of the 2008 offseason to sign a long-term deal.

    UPDATE

    Marcus Trufant's six-year, $50.2 million contract includes a $10 million signing bonus.
He gets $1 million salaries in '08 and '09, plus a $7 million roster bonus next March and the previously reported $3 million roster bonus due in 2010. His base salary in the third year is $5.7 million, but he is very likely to see those first three years. Because there's no state income tax in Washington state, Trufant's total money is close to Asante Samuel and DeAngelo Hall's.
