Vikings DE Kenechi Udeze revealed Friday that his acute leukemia is in a state of remission.
Udeze will get a bone marrow transplant from his brother. The 25-year-old plans to play football again someday, but says health is his No. 1 priority for now. He will likely be placed on injured reserve during the summer.

    Wish Kenechi the best.

What a story that would be if he could get the bone marrow transplant and get out there and start playing again. Best of luck to him. Wow... the miracles were able to pull off through health sciences now are quite impressive... yet of course always a work in progress.

well bro no different then when a 6 year old is diagnosed with cancer......................... cancer is a screwed up thing, heres to hoping we can beat it someday.........

edit: big ups to him for fighting the good fight. Anyone who can face something like cancer and still want to play has nothing but respect from me.

I know how ya feel... I really think that if you believe you can beat it, you can. I think that if they catch it soon enough, it's much more mental than it is physical.
