I assume most of you are computer savvy and know that stuff like this goes on. But I figured I would post it just in case you weren't aware. I was aware of it and still didn't recognize it was happening to me for over a year until today.

I'm usually very careful when I fill out orders to buy things online. Well the way this one got me was that it didn't actually ask for my credit card number. If it did I wouldn't have done it. Apparently what it did was take my credit card information from the site I had just made a purchase from and charge me $12 bucks a month. Its beyond me how I missed it on my statement. I might loose sleep tonight thinking about how I missed it.

This is exactly how it happened to me:

The crazy thing about it is that the exact same thing happened to my mom about a year ago except with a different online site. So at least we knew what to do and I was able to get a full refund, though she didn't get a full refund for some reason.

The old adage applies, if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. So be more careful than I was and don't let these slimy bastards take advantage of you.
