Arrgh...you just jammed into a paradox...how can there be a Final Destination finale? Would that be Final Final Destination? Or Final Final Final Really Final Destination? Final Destination Finale could reach infinity theoretically speaking...
Ouch Vince... Ouch... What happened to the QB that beat USC in that incredible game. Oh great, now because of the fumble, we get to see him again!
Yikes. Third down, screen set up, and Young overthrows him. And the Bills muff the punt, giving Young another shot to show the world just how badly his confidence is shot.
Wilson did a lot for the league and congrats to him for being inducted...... But I will always remember him for his line after he voted against the last CB. When asked why he was one of just a few owners that didn't vote for it his response was that he "Didn't understand it". He didn't disagree with it, he just didnt understand it.
Decent throw their by Young for the TD, though he almost overthrew a wide open receiver. Edit, actually that was a pretty darn good throw.
Well, it's almost halftime, fortunately there has been very few penalties or this game would really be dragging.
Its never been a question for Vince whether he has the physical tools. I even think he has the accuracy. Its about whether or not he has the mental ability to play this game. Coming out of college I really thought he was tough, and hopefully he can become what I thought he could be. So far though I have to say I was wrong about him.
About Levitre, I never really cared for him, Stryker Sulak of all players was owning him at the Senior Bowl when he played tackle.
Nice throw and catch from Young to Williams. I almost feel sorry for Young, so it was good to see him have a small margin of success.
The mental aspect cant be overstated but accuracy is almost as big an issue IMO. He has a habit of bad footwork. Bills O line continues to not be impressive.
Its not that his accuracy is pinpoint, but he has a way of putting the ball where it needs to be one way or another. In college anyway. I remember in the skills challenge he hit the bullseye or threw it into the small net from like 40 yards away on a line drive throw. He has the accuracy. Maybe not the consistancy but I think that goes with the mental aspect.
First half thoughts for the Bills Their run D has some talent. Parish is looking very quick. TO is going to get his touches, and looks like, well, TO. O line had better get a lot better or that offense isn't going to have time to get TO the ball, or run it, or do just about anything else. Overall their D looks better then the offense, though the D just gave up 21 points in a half to the offensive powerhouse that is the Titans so...... Yeah.
I dont honestly, I hate the Jets, with passion, but I kinda feel sorry for the Bills. Horrible economy and lack of recent success combined with an owner whose time has come and gone. I feel kinda sorry for their fans, who seem to be a fairly decent sort.
To me, Young's problem is not accuracy or consistency, it's mental toughness and desire. Turned the DVR off, no reason to record all of this.
I don't, we had not beaten Buffalo since 2005 until last year, we had a down cycle, they seem primed for one as well, and they more than likely will have a new owner soon to start the climb back upwards.
F that......buffalo is the enemy....all the games in the 90s.....the depressing losses.....jim kelly....the **** fans throwing batteries.....spitting at bryan cox......F the bill.....that **** team deserves to be moved....i despise their fans just as much as jet and patsie fans....sorry cant feel bad for a division foe...just my .02
I agree. He said it was a permanent retirement though when they just asked him. I was just telling a friend of mine that I'm glad he got to win himself a superbowl before retiring. One of the classiest there was, he surely deserved it.
Agreed about Dungy. He needs to be a part of this game, one way or another. The league is better off with him in it. Also, as far as Buffalo goes, they are still, to me, the most hated rival for me. I cut my teeth with the Jim Kelly led Bills and can almost name off the entire team to this day. I simply despise them more than any other team in the league, despite their recent lack of success, it hasn't tempered my disdain for them.
For breakfest on the weekends I go to this little place and get 2 side orders of bacon (crispy) and a side of toast. This all goes well with my morning breakfest.
Yep, I can recall some of the beat downs the Jills gave the Phins up in frozen buffalo, I have no sorrow nor pity for that crew.
