I liked 3, though they really did go overboard with the darkness. It went from "atmospheric" to "unplayable" very quickly. Resurrection of Evil was pretty good in its own right, too. Here's hoping Doom 4 takes place on Earth and features sunlight. A visual design style that doesn't make everything look so bulky/low budget sci-fi would be great, too.
