Louisville's Brian Brohm will likely be the second quarterback drafted later this month, according to SI.com's Peter King. King believes Brohm will go in the 20s. One GM acknowledged that he thinks teams "picked (Brohm) apart too much last year." As a senior learning a new offense in 2007, Brohm threw 30 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions. I'd love to see Brohm fall to round 2 so we could grab him. It seems the chance of this happening keeps changing. Early mocks had him going to Chicago in round 1. Now a lot of mocks have him nowhere in round 1. Now their are whispers of teams trading up late in the 1rst to get him.
Scouts inc mock has us trading up to the Cowboys first pick and taking Brohm. Along with Chris Long as our first pick.
Have a link for that? That seems like a strange move to me. Is San Fransisco interested in Brohm? They are the only team after the Cowboys 1rst pick that would possibly have any interest in him before we pick at 32.
Its the Mock in my 2008 NFL Draft Guide From Scout it says we would trade our second #33 and third #65 to move up to 22nd to pick Brohm its by Chris Steuber the scout.com nfl expert.
I don't like that trade. i would like to see the phins take trade offers for the 1st pick in the 3rd. on the second day of the draft. The phins might get some great offers for that pick. i think Brohm is a better Qb then Ryan
I don't just not like that trade, I hate it. To trade away our 2nd and 3rd on the rare chance San Fran might take him? That's absolutely insane. If San Fran wants him, or another team trades up, let them have him and we'll roll the dice with Flacco or somebody else. Why trade away all that value to get Brohm when we could take Ryan with the 1rst if we decided a QB was worth that much to us. IMO, this will never happen. Bill Parcells is too smart for that.
