How can the league let such a good game be determined by the refs?

Ironic that I picked the Saints even though I don't want them to win.

The way the Saints went head hunting there is no chance he comes back.

What an anti-climactic finish to what was a really good football game...

As a fan of the league, I feel robbed.

Thank God. I don't think I'd watch the Superbowl with Farve in it. The amount of butt kissing would be insane.

    Congrats Saints !

But now we have to be subjected to an off-season of, "Will Brett retire or not ?", "Will Brett cry more on camera ?".......phooey !

Saints had the Mojo working tonight; lucky indeed. Refs helped. God knows the 6 fumbles helped. Not the most convincing win, but at least it's not Favre coming down here.
    Looking forward to this SuperBowl.

Well you get the good and the bad with Favre. It has come full circle that his (potentially) last pass, once again, is an INT.

I'll believe it when I see it. He has such an ego, I don't know....even if he sat out a year, I'll bet even he would still think he could come back.

The Vikings are a cursed franchise. I feel sorry for their fanbase, what a total and complete meltdown with the Super Bowl in sight.. The Vikings were the superior team and would have put up a better fight than the Saints against the Colts... I'm thinking 27-16 Colts.... And a 7 point spread..

You guys are hilarious. Nice INT in FG range with 18 seconds to go.

The Favre loving is SICKENING on here.

What does Favre have to do with the refs determining the outcome? I don't think anyone here is backing up Favre with his dumb decision.

I also feel bad for Brett.. I've made fun of him and his indecision as much as everyone here, but the guy played with a big set of balls after getting hammered all night long... Say what you want about him, but he is one tough SOB.

I gotta agree. The Refs didn't throw an interception while he had his team well inside field goal range. Nor did they fumble what 7 times (or was it 6 either way)?

Like I said... I feel robbed. I have no interest in this game either. Im not a Saints fan, Im not a Vikes fan. I dislike Favre. But I feel robbed after watching the outcome of this game. That was the worst OT ever... the calls were terrible.

The list of teams never in the SB has now shrunk to just Detroit, Jacksonville, Houston, and (the new) Cleveland Browns. Anyone else ?

Didn't end the way I'd hoped it would. I really hope the Colts win. The class on that Indy team compared to New Orleans is ridiculous.

Come on man... that PI call, theres no way that ball was catchable. It was a good 10-15 yards overthrown.

The 4th down run... questionable call all the way. He was short of the marker, and even lost possession of the ball then regained control of it in mid air about a yard behind the marker at least.

That was the worst OT I've ever seen. I couldn't care less who won that game either.

Now, I wanna see the colts put up 40 on the saints now though. Screw them.

Saints struggled to stop Methuselah at QB. I don't see how they can stop Manning.

The refs won. I know... because the Vikings weren't getting horrible calls going their way in this game as well, right? They were lucky enough to even be in the game with how poorly they handled the football. Please. Perfect outcome, IMO. It couldn't of ended in better fashion.

Really? What does this have to do with anything being discussed in the posts you quoted? Clearly you cant disagree then. You simply didnt want Favre and the Vikes in the superbowl over the Saints. As I said, personally, I couldn't care less who won this game. Just feel completely robbed with the outcome of this game, and how it was reached with those calls.

Who wins this one? I say the Colts if the referees stay out of it.
