I'll peruse your roster tonight. Do we need to go through some sort of approval system to do bigger trades within our league for the sake of fairness?
iam all for a fair policy like a marriage.......for example.... "me and bigdogs got a trade agreed apon for player AB for player A....anyone have a problem?" as long as no one disagrees for whatever reason. its all good. what say you all?
I do think that if anybody objects that the collective makes the final ruling because some people may object based on the impact to their division not necessarily how fair the trade is.
You're the commish and that sounds fine to me. Only thing would be if people start doing a lot of trading, it may be an extra step that gets annoying and if two players make a trade then their responsible for who benefits or not. Most people have CPU trades off because you can get a lot of good deals and kind of take advantage over an AI, but with two humans trading you can't exploit like that, and if you do then I guess you're a savvy GM. But getting it cleared is fine also, I'm looking over my roster as we speak. heh
ya that was just an idea. and i agree crappy.....if one person disagreed then all that does is bring it to light infront of the group....and we as a whole ultimatley would decide. and i agree starry i dont wanna get everything slowed down....so we can trust eachother to make good football decisions. and please....if someone is gettin rid of their ps3, or leaving the league for any reason....dont trade half your roster to a buddy before you go. ill boot you both, take over the teams and cut all the players to give everyone first dibs!!!! i rule all lol
well this draft will be interesting, since none of us have done this yet....its a mystery as to what value you actually get with 1st round selections. i believe iam just gunna try to trade players for this 1st season...cause i know each's actual value. the draft picks are still up in the air.....dunno if your gunna get a 70-80 range guy with potential to reach the 90's in a few good seasons. or if hes gunna be a 90 out of the gate? dunno. but i do know, i have no life and this thing lasts 10 seasons....so i will be playing for a long time, seeing these guys develop!
I'm on the fence because I know what I'm getting with a young player that's already established. Once the 10 seasons are up can it be restarted or would you have to buy another franchise license?
On the Saints, do you want me to back out just to make sure there's no issues? From this thread earlier I had assumed that the season was over so I opted in...sorry There were quite a few teams I had on my list available so it's no problem to give up the Saints at all.
if you could.....looking at the standing the saints look to be the 2nd wildcard team depending on what atlanta does (human controlled) they may have a tie breaker, iam not sure. so if you could get another team that'd be great bro. sorry.

As a said before I'd give up Torry Holt (85, age 34), have two RBs Jennings (69 overall with SPD 83/ACC 86, age 25) and Washington (62 overall with SPD 79/ACC 86, age 25) that I'd part with one. Holt is old but may be a decent WR for a year or two. Running backs aren't bad if you were looking to get a backup to someone. I think I'd part with Garrad (79, age 32), depending on offer. Looking to get some defensive guys in a few different spots. I'm trying to turn Jacksonville into a 3-4, from the 4-3 they are on the game.
I might be willing to part with a later round pick for Holt since there's a lot of wear on those tires.

haha Thank you, I played about as good as I'm going to, you just got unlucky and got one of my good games. Is funny to see some of Miami's guys do certain things. In a game against BarryP Akin had a huge interception, in ours he and Wilson got a pick. Then of course Ted Ginn returns two kicks and has a great day receiving. Henne was 12-12, just the way I like it.
On that pass that Akin picked off I thought I had the receiver deep enough behind him against the zone to get the ball over and turn it upfield. Doh!
Didnt you know the linebackers in Madden are magic? Depth perception means pretty much nothing, because defenders grow to 11 feet tall when a ball is going over their head
Went back and watched the highlight and the receiver was plenty deep enough that, I think, if he had caught it that he would have had a lot of green in front of him. It looks like I threw the ball too hard and it had no arc so with a bit of a stretch he plucked it out of the air, but again I was also rolling out as I threw.
Happens a lot. It's hard to put the touch you want on the ball a lot of the time, a perfect pass is really a beautiful thing. I know I envy my touch passes sometimes when I'm able to pull them off. Its strange, but they sort of get me pumped up and playing better

LOL....Dolphins should be untouchable as a show of good faith amongst us - lots of us would have taken them - but its good to leave them be....honestly I dont know who would want to run any team in AFCE....its the CPU division

im looking to do a major over haul of my defense. my olb`s are old its vraebal and zach but they are my least concern im hoping that if i upgrade my seconday it`ll limit the big plays. also i nee to revamp my d-line. it is just woeful
This is the penalty we pay for joining late and picking the crud sucker teams. Kicking myself for not signing up earlier and picking a more fundamentally sound team. I think in the end it will be more fun this way to see a rebuilding project from start to finish or I guess to be fully exposed to how bad I really am at this game lol
