Darksiders MERGED - Due to Mor's mental instability

this tiamat ***** is pissing me off.

 

The older I get the harder these "twitch" games get..I love them but they test my patience.

 

Bought this yesterday. Thus far I'm about 2 hours in and I am thoroughly impressed. I love the look of the game, and gameplay is top notch. Feel like I'm playing the bastard child of Zelda and God of War.

I'm going to backburner this and rip through Bayonetta, which I also picked up. I want to give this one my full attention. It's awesome thus far though. Lovin' it.

I read somewhere that they plan to do followups depending on how well the game does. They would love to tell stories with the other horseman as well.

 

Finished it..Great game...I would buy the next sequel for certain.

The ending seemed to come to soon for me...after all those eloborate areas for the final area to be just an arena was disappointing...I did like the ending however

Got this for my birthday but ME2 is taking all my console time right now.

While i agree that combat was nothing ground breaking... but it was no more repetitive than God of War (or any beat em up for that reason). Beat em ups as a genre has pretty much been repetitive as balls since the Final Fight, Golden Axe days.

As for the cutscenes, I liked em. Thought they were well directed and had great voice acting. The character and world design was phenomenal imo.

Different strokes, different folks i guess. I can't wait for part 2.

 

I'm with you, Med ... I just got to the first boss battle, and I'm already about ready to switch to my other GameFly rental, Heavy Rain. Just feels really inaccessible to me (no pun intended).
