Actually I dont think we would need to learn anything to trade between ourselves. Just a ship. If I build a ship would you trade me some marble for some sulphur Felix?

 

hey guys, been gone all weekend. so i see we have a bunch of new members, thats sweet. I need wine and marble. I have crystal and money to offer to anyone who needs it.

Could use some crystal, got decent amount of sulphur to trade.

 

Is it expansion that allows you to trade with cities more than an island away?

 

I think you just need a cargo boat and coords. Here is a guide from thier game forums , the link is at the top of the page in game.

How can I trade

- You can use Trading post for it
- you can find a player and send him some resources via cargo ship, and he sends you some back


What do I need to get trading post?
You need to do Wealth research in Economy section.


Ok I have done my research what now?
Click on the empty filed and find Trading post, then click on the build button and wait for it to complete.


I built my trading post how do I trade?

First you need to decide are you buying or selling. After that you need to set the correct parameters in the Trading post to get what you need.


I want to sell Wine. How can I do that?
First you should see what other people are offering and what are the prices, you can see that by selecting Marbel from drop down list and clicking on a radion button called I am looking for there you can see this:







After you seen the price you can offer more or less your choice.


How Do I sell in the end?

You sell on the form bellow witch looks like this:





Select your resource type, type the amount you wish to sell and the price per peace and click the button on the bottom called Updated Offers


I have 500 od wine and I wish to sell 400 but I get an error saying that I can't. Why is that?
Every level of a market has different number of units you can sell. the larger level of Trade post you have you can sell more and see more people selling their stuff.


Where I can see how much I can sell?
In the left pane on the bottom you have Storage capacity option, there you can see that number.


Is that for all resources or only one.
For example you have 200 limit, that means that you can sell 200 of every ress at once. Game has 5 types of resources. so 5*200=1000 but only 200 per ress is max.


Can I trade goods for goods with my friend?
Yes you need to know coordinates of your friend for that.


OK I got the cord what I need to do with them?
Go to world screen and there on the left you have some options. They look like this:





Let's say his coords are 1:1

Thye first number in the first box and second in second box, and click on the green round arrow. after that find the island with that coordiantes and your friends city. By clicking on it you get this:





After that you look on the left pane and you get something like this:






There you need to click on the picture market in red to get to this screen:






There you choose what to send to your friend by pulling the marker or by entering numbers in the box.

In blue you can see ships needed for that, and amount of time for the trip.

When you are done just click on Transport goods to send your ships.


Can I pull back my ships?

Yes for that you need to click on this:





And there you have This:





If you click on the arrow in the end your ships will be withdrawed, and you will get your resources back

 

Guess I need to upgrade my trading post.

 

I think thats the hook...I dont see anyway of getting materials u need unless you buy "ambrosia" and that cost "real" money..Im trying to get expansion and get on an island with some marble to see.

 

so where do you get sulphur at?

 

i need crystal, i got marble and wood!

 

ive got 100 crystal to offer, i would love some marble.

 

Its the luxury resource on my island.

I sent out a ship and got 50 crystal...I think someone was offering it pretty close...I hit the "find bargain" on my tradepost and got some.

took some time tho.

I'll be able to build an embassy in about 2 hrs. Then we can create an alliance.

I think I read on the forums that you can get ambrosia from raiding if you don't want to use real money to buy it.

The sulphur is over by the town <the elves>. looks like a yellow powder valcano

 

Remember it takes 2 workers to get 1 sulphur per hour.

 

i went to ur island (96:90) and saw a sulphur pit. are you sure?

Just started learning expansion , 19 hours and 30 minutes to go

 

I don't have the range it seems to trade, I'm in the process of upgrading my trading port. If anyone can send me some crystal, I have plenty of marble to trade for it once I get a few more upgrades.

man takes forever, I'll start hervesting wine in the AM, then let it run all day while at work. So I'll have some to trade once I get everything up and going.
