dupree you and alex gunna get that game played? we are close to falling 2 weeks behind. i wanna advance the week. let me know guys
I learned my lesson from last week and didn't use new playbooks against the Colts. First half I could not do anything to stop Peyton, didn't matter what coverage I did he just kept tossing it around on me. Luckily in the second half I got stops and my offense kept scoring, did have two fumbles though; one that was returned for a TD and another while I was in the red zone running the clock out. Those two fumbles kept it close but got the win.
I just got plowed by the Bucs 41-31, tossed another hat trick in interceptions including one that was picked off and rumbled back for a TD by Gaines Adams. My secondary couldn't stop the Main St. Senior Center from getting deep and scoring on them.
Hey Sick, you gonna be around Monday at lunchtime (your time)? If we can;t hook up for the game, just forfeit me to you and take the win, since I;ve been the guy who has been unavailable to play it.
i cant at lunch. i got work all week. iam off friday, and get off at 4 thursday(eastern) and iam available until 1130ish every night this week. we can work something out iam sure
I'm free Wednesday 10est or later, Thursday 9 est or later and friday 6 est or later. Let me know if any of those work.
Well, it was close 'til the fourth quarter... then I went down like a lead balloon. Congrats to SICK on staying perfect. With the Colts losing to the Jets this week, Sick is the only remaining undefeated team! just remember, Sick, it don;t mean a thing unless you win the Superbowl, buddy!!! lol. p.s. - next time I'll focus on winning the tunover battle with you instead of trying to force throws, or bust big plays and runs. Your DB interceptions and hitsticks are deadly (as is tyour fight for the fumble skill). -4 turnovers is just too big a differential to overcome. I'd rather have half the offensive yardage and no turnovers.
Outstanding battle....you hung in and pulled it out. Impressive come back, but still had a chance but yackked on FG try! Jumped out to early lead via INT on KC's opening drive. Proceeded to use up entire balance of 1st QTR clock before scoring started in 2nd QTR. However, as the game wore on, some dropped passes and 2 big missed FGs cost me. Including a last ditch 50yd that would have atleast sent it to OT. Yea that was a crazy game. I was royally pissed off after I came up short on 4th and 1 with about 5 mins left, because I thought I blew the game. Does your kicker just not have a leg, because both field goals you missed were 45+ yards? And Matt Cassel drives me crazy sometimes, he just can't throw it deep well. As I'm sure you noticed with those rainbow passes that would sail out of bounds.
Nah, Dawson has OK leg, I just FAT-FINGERED the timiing of the KICK STICK both times. Should have easily made the first miss of 45yds and really F'd it up........but needed perfect timing on the 50yd at the end and FAILED. Both of those are on me!!! I liked alot about what I was able to do on Offense and Defense (esp with my OL injuries), I loved my RETURN efforts, but like a normal rookie HC/Operator my clock management at the end was lacking. Especially after stopping you on that 4&1 play. I will learn from it.
You played especially well on defense. You did really well at keeping from being able to run the ball consistently and I need to fix that.
I can't wait to play you BigDogs in Week 17, only human opponent I have this season since I came in late and the schedule I have. Friend of mine came over today and was down 2 when I got the ball on my 30 with one timeout and about 40 seconds left. Two plays later I was on the 32 and running up to spike the ball, kicked the game winner as time expired. Carpenter is money!
Big dogs hunt was a good opponent and I think we are all pretty closely matched in skill. Btw bdh what's your name man I feel bad calling you big dogs. Posted via Mobile Device
Also anybody figure how the draft works yet? And how do we make highlights to post? Posted via Mobile Device
Doesnt bother me at all..... Scott Rover (hence BigDogsHunt) - cause it's what we do. And anytime Rover Postion gets mentioned in a thread, I get a chubby. Love when I played Rover Safety; it fit perfectly!
A post here describes it.....pretty easy really. http://forums.thephins.com/showpost.php?p=915958&postcount=267 Then the last piece is using EA Sports Replay builder to create them for link needs : http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/easw/vmu/videoMashupCanvas Once you build, they are saved in your EA Sports profile, and you simply copy URL and post here. FYI...I made these from your two big plays in the game: The Game Winner: http://www.easports.com/media/play/highlight-reel/15197171 Huge momentum changer: http://www.easports.com/media/play/highlight-reel/15197146
SICK what do you think? As commish, how could we get NCAA players? (Any HELP from a guy like MOR??? - if you know what I mean")...then again, since this is BETA, not sure if the feature to import NCAA exists....of if we are simply stuck with this season only and will not be allowed to create a 2010 on our own?, or if it only forces "pretend" guys like with Franchise Madden non-online if you dont have NCAA game?
did lions/falcons play? regardless i will advance tomorrow morning. ashraf.....me and you bro. whens good for you? iam free anytime during later evenings (after 8 eastern)
Great roundup BDH!!!!! I love it!!! You came up JUST short on that FG attempt! And, man, you're good with Cribbs.
If you go back in the thread there were instructions posted on how to make video highlights. Sorry, but not sure which page it was on!
Can't wait to see who wins between Raffie and Sick. Raffie, you're our last hope at breaking SICK's perfect regular season! Even without Jacobs you can do it! lol. (sorry, Sick... gotta stick up for our '72 Dolphins!!!)
Well most people run on 1st and Goal and play action on 2nd and Goal, I decided to catch BDH off guard. Needless to say it worked.
