    This sounds like one of those POLICE "sting events" where they invite all the felons to show up to a party to "meet a celebrity" or "sports hero" or "claim a prize" only to be arrested on outstanding warrant in the RAID.

    Like the Movie "Sea of Love" with Pacino.
