Protesting the Who in the upcoming Super Bowl

I know that sick.
I get busted all the time for putting people in certain groups. I just don't think it's fair to say "the Disney kids". Their just kids like any others, they make plenty of mistakes etc., but calling them all names doesn't sit right with me.
Are all the guys in the Who into child porn just because one is?

I have two grandgirls, so yes, I know all of these actors.

I don't know what these kids do in private, but they are kids.

 

I think we def know some. And that's only bc these girls have no problem making a lot of the things they do public.

But we're not talking about one girl. There's at least 3 that come to mind who have nude pic scandels, been knocked up, etc.

And in Miley Cyrus' case, she puts this **** up on her public websites and whatnot. If that's not asking for criticism then I don't know what is.

 

I understand your feelings. I hate this. The grandgirls love Miley and I hate the thought of them being disappointed.
I also didn't know she put junk on a web site, I've never gone there.
I'll watch and tell their dad about her site and maybe we can keep them off of it.

 

That's a ****ty situation.

I doubt it's on like a commercial fansite, but prob just a facebook or myspace, etc. All I know is that every time I go on AOL I see a diff. scandal over some raunchy pic she just threw up.

If I had a daughter, Disney would be banned lol.

 

Maybe not in America, but in the rest of the world they're huge. Maiden regularly plays to crowds over over 300,000 at Rock In Rio. That's over a quarter of a million people at ONE show.

I'd say that's pretty popular with the masses.

Of course they were never as big as Bruce or the Stones here. The American music listening public has had their heads up their collective asses for so long it's ridiculous. They wouldn't know music with depth if it bit them.

 

It is hard to protect them. Their only 10 and 7. But, someone has to try to and I am a bear when it comes to them. So's their dad.

IMO they should let bangs perform the halftime show...im sure he can put on a great show

He was cleared of charges almost seven years ago. Proven not to have downloaded or shared child pornograghy and has had no issues since. For those that do or don't want Disney stars labelled as whores for getting pregnant at 16 or rock stars who get labelled a pedophile.
Lets not be so quick to judge.

think the main thing is what was townsend accessing back then? if he was downloading children under ten years old thats a whole lot different than sixteen year olds. they are both illegal but one is downright evil and frightening. one you may want to lock up, the other you may want to hang from a tree by their neck. i dont have a problem with them protesting him. he's a bit of a freak, he's british (for an american pasttime), and i'm frankly tired of 60s music (stones, beatles, who, etc) i doubt anything comes of it but it should be amusing at least. Have Lynyrd Skynyrd do it next year

 

Gotta clarify things then. You said you weren't into "80's butt metal" right after I posted something about Judas Priest, and we all know Halford's persuasion.

 

I love Def Leppard. Actually saw them in person with my son. They put on a great show.
No jokes about the drummer either...LOL

 

I don't think there's many people, if any, that don't like at least 1 Queen song.

 

I have an issue with the whole pedophile thing. I do a some post conviction legal work and a percentage of those cases involve people convicted of pedophilia. IMO there's a big difference between a person who had consensual sex with an underage person who he reasonably believed to be about his age and a person who is attracted to kids. Unfortunately the law doesn't see it that way. It's a strict liability crime. So in Nevada and most other states, if you're 20 years old and you have consensual sex with a 15 year old whom you believe is 18, looks 18, has an ID that says she's 18 and told you she's 18, you'll be convicted as a pedophile and have to register as a sex offender for the rest of your life.

I find that situation is incredibly unfair. I'm thankful that as an older guy that my dating pool doesn't include girls who could be lying about their age and are actually minors. They could be lying but there aren't many 15 year olds that look to be in their 30s.

What I do worry about is my nine year old son. He will be facing a dangerous world when he's 18 - 20 years old.
