Dolphins | Babb seeking to recover stolen ring Fri, 4 Apr 2008 10:31:22 -0700 Former Miami Dolphins S Charlie Babb is seeking to recover his stolen 1972 Super Bowl ring. Babb's Super Bowl ring was stolen from his car while he was participating in a charity event. His watch and a Hall of Fame autographed helmet were also stolen from his car. http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl
ouch, that would stink. I wonder if they have any way to trace that ring as his when it hits the market?
Doubt it. Whoever took it is most likely smart enough to figure out that theyd need to chop it up and sell it in pieces. LOL I think trying to sell off a 1972 Dolphins Superbowl ring may raise a few eyebrows in most pawn shops and jewelery stores.
Charlie Babb's 1972 Super Bowl Ring Stolen http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2008/apr/04/1972-dolphin-fort-myers-resident-charlie-babb-seek/ Damn Indians!! * * j/k there is no evidence that the ring was stolen by indians. It was a joke based on the llocation of the theft. No offense intended. As a matter of fact I will edit the offending words if any indian has a problem with my poor attempt at humor. I am truly sorry for almost disparaging the proud heritage of our native brothers and sisters through a lousy joke made by a small insecure person.
That sucks. I used to be good friends with his Daughter Mary and I knew he and his wife. I saw the ring a lot and it was awesome. I hope he gets it back.
Babb is going to be like Ace Ventura checking out all those guy's rings in the restroom....hope he doesn't get punched out. But seriously, I hope he gets it back. Don't look for it to show up on E-Bay.
As much as that sucks and I feel for the gy, gotta wonder what would anyone be thinking leaving something so valuable in the car. Too bad, hope he gets it back.
