Thanks... I try to be insightful with my comments.
    More people should be.

The poster asked how Ginn would respond.
I'm pretty sure I directly answered the question and gave solid reasons why I feel that way. If people are saying this about Ginn over and over there might be a clue there you may want to pay attention to.

Ginn vanished, sorry Ginn backers, he has to get clipped, Hartline, a rook, has outplayed him, in 08, Bess a UDFA, outplayed him, Greg C outplays him.

Could some kind mod lock this thread before it becomes a orgy of scapegoating?

I tried and couldn't find anything. You're the one claiming **** is talked every game, so you should be able to find it. The onus is on you to prove your claim right when it is called into question.

I don't know what else you guys want from Ginn, he's made just about every catch that he's even been targeted on for the last 5 weeks. Had a couple nice blocks today. He had a good game.

Of course, everyone's ignoring Ginn's two catches, one of them being a first down that continued what eventually became a scoring driving (over the middle as well), and laying a block for Camarillo to get a first down the next play.

He got open from what I could see, and there was 100% completions on throws to him.

He didn't vanish, he played just as usual.

exactly. 5 weeks in a row of good play and the trashing continues. its ****ing ******ed at this point. the argument is no longer he cant catch but now its he's not catching 100 yds per game. i assume thats what they want now. but really, who's fault is it that ginn isnt being thrown to? is it ginn's fault? henne's fault? or henning's fault?

Ginn did what he is supposed to do. Catch the passes thrown to him.

And Padre, Bess didn't outplay Ginn last season.

He fought hard on returns as well, but I guess he's still a "panzy". What is he supposed to do? It's amazing that he's one of the yards per return guys in the league with our terrible return blocking.

Except for crumbling like a house of cards prior to contact or dancing around losing yardage on kickoff returns. What was his deepest penetration the 22? I'll even give him a pass on the muffed punt because hell he wasn't the only one today but he certainly didn't earn his billing as an elite kick returner today. He was pedestrian at best.

He did make the one catch nicely.

Hartline still out shined him hands down by making catches that I know full well that Ginn would not have made.

Ginn caught 2, and Hartline caught 2. The only one Ginn probably wouldn't have caught that Hartline did is a pass Hartline probably doesn't catch again with 10 more tries.

how many yds were there for him to get on those KRs. He got everything he could out of that crap blocking. these bashings no longer make any sense. they have nothing to do with whaqt happens on the field anymore

When did I say Hartline didn't? Can we not have two receivers that play well? Jesus.

To say Ginn is pedestrian as a returner is just flat out wrong. He had no room at all today, no creases. Explain to me please how you can do well on a return with no room? Honestly, back up your claims.

As for the punt return, that's on the coaches in my opinion. You can't keep randomly sticking a player in on something like punt returns. It takes a lot of practice, in games and in practice. I wouldn't expect anyone to do well returning 5 punts a year in random situations.

I'm confused tho, seems to me we had a tie.

It was a freak catch but it also took a ****load of concentration and not giving up on the play and the willingness to stand in there with two DB's and a third on the way across to try to capture that ball.

Forgive me I must have blinked and missed one.

It has everything to do with what happened on the field. We aren't going to ever agree on this. I know we watched the same game and we have different interpretations of what we saw.

So everyone but Hartline disappeared? Or because Hartline only had 2 catches he disappeared too? Did Bess or Cam disappear with their 50% completion percentage? Did Cam disappear with his 9ypc?

Ginn played the same as usual, and made the most of his chances at WR just like the previous 4 games or so.

I didn't say you said anything about Hartline, I made a comment that I thought Hartline outplayed him. Don't make assumptions on what wasn't said.

I watched the game that's all the claim I need. If you want to sugarcoat it fine by me. You're looking for a reason to give him a break. I'm not.
I did however say that I didn't hold the punt against him.

On the Bess long pass play....Ginn cut to the post and Griffin fell down.

If henne doesn;t get rid of it (he had great protection on that play), he sees a wide open Ginn for a 65 yard TD.

if Ginn catches the ball of course.

I remember this too, but I think it was Finnegan on him. I don't think anyone fell over and I think the reason Ginn got open was because Finnegan saw Griffin sprinting towards the sidelines at Bess. This is just my reaction from the short replay they showed once, so I could definitely be wrong, but it could have been the case.

2 passes were thrown his way, and he caught both. On KOs, blocking was putrid. He had no chance. Honestly, you guys are reaching for things to put Ginn down.

Definitely agree that Ginn didn't have much room to run with on the majority of the returns today. Met with 3-4 blue jerseys every time he hit the 15-20, and it's been like that for most of the season in Ginn's defense.

Doesn't have anything to do with Ginn being a 'panzy' though, and there is no debating that. It's like he wants to go down once he's touched at times. He's so afraid of contact it amazes me, especially watching a guy like DeSean Jackson. Now there's a guy with the same size / frame who plays fearless. Ted Ginn should study up and do everything in his power (LOL! power and ownership of Ginn in the same sentence) to model his play after Jackson. If not, then he needs to question himself and what he wants to do with his remaining years, because football isn't for him. Not at this level.

At least he's not dropping gimme's anymore. He's actually made some really nice grabs the past few weeks.

I really wish we didn't have to find year old examples of how well Ginn plays.

What I saw was his knees buckling before contact from the defender on a couple of the returns that's the definition of giving up on the return to me.

I would love to give you the play by play minute by minute but in a fit of anger I already deleted the game from my DVR.

    5 weeks of "Good" play?

Are you referring to those couple of games where he had 2 catches? Yeah it's better than nothing but jesus christ could you be any easier to please?

You apologists have run out of ammo to defend him so now all you can do is lower expectations to the point where all he has to do is show up at the right stadium on game day.

You can't be afraid of contact and play in the NFL. You just can't do it. You are exaggerating. He may prefer to avoid taking a hit, or go down early, but that doesn't mean he is afraid of it.

its not based on watching the game. its just bashing for the sake of bashing at this point in the season. the fact that he isnt getting 100 yds a game is enough to warrant the trashing. it has nothing to do with his play anymore. its just blind hatred and ridiculous expectations. Ginn gets 38 yds receiving...he sucks. Camarillo gets 46 yds he's great
