I've been looking for Finding the Winning Edge by Bill Walsh for months now but the prices are extremely high for the book, like 140 dollars and up. Does anyone know where I can find this book online at a legit site for a cheap price? Thanks in advance!

29.00 was the MFR list price, and ecampus has a 1to4 week waiting period before shipping, chances are good they may list it, but don't have it in stock.

Hmm...either it is out in .pdf, which is extremely possible, or one can flip through the pages and pages of poorly organized online sports collectable shops..

    My Frugality is my Strength!!!!

In all seriousness, I did a fairly thourough search, and even in the UK they are asking L130 for it, or about 290 dollars.

If I really wanted that book I'd A)look at Libraries that list it and see if I could order via inter library loan B) scour used book stores C) search through online book sites that offer books via .PDF.

30k copies, not only hardcore collectors bought it when new, you can take the ISBN nu mber and search large city libraries or even take the drastic step of searching the Library of Congress for it.

    Err...good luck with that Alen...:wink2:

Library. Some library systems are able to pull up info from libraries statewide and get the book shipped (for free) to your local branch. Michigan for instance, which was very handy when I was reading a lengthy series one summer.

If you dont have an account, go talk to your local librarian. They can set you up, may even be able to tell you right off if your wasting your time or not. :)

I checked Kindle a while back for the book but no luck. However I did find it via the University of Tennessee library...problem is you have to have an account. Luckily for you Alen they have guest accounts and I sent an email seeing how someone can get one. I know UT allows people off campus to use their library so you have a good chance Alen. If not I'll see if my old student account is still open and I'll let you use it.

I checked it earlier today on a friend's account and the book is there and I read a bit....also copying and pasting doesn't work I tried lol.

On Monday I believe the library reopens from holiday and I'll tell you what to do if you want to go this route.

Also I know somewhere to get you free Kindle too.

Well its not a free Kindle its Kindle for the PC so not that great but I've used it like a fool. Also Amazon gives away a crap load of good free books.

As for the account I think I used the library for you before and we ran into some kind of problem...maybe I was just looking for references for Delaware history books...was that it? Either way there was some reason it got mixed up.

Anyway long story short if I get this figured out for Alen then you'll get the same info. and privilege .

You guys just better hope I can. :D

Yep it was for Delaware history. I can't remember .. I think it wanted a password or something.

Well the password was probably the deal then. That is what I'm currently trying to work around with either a guest account or actually seeing if my account is still active or if I could recover the information.

Don't worry about your account, Sking. If a guest account is available, that's awesome. If not, it's alright. I'll find the book eventually.
