for skits/promos for my show....to give me a break inbetween segments.....to gather some notes and thoughts for everything.....2 hours without commercials or spots is tough. Any ideas would be great. was thinking of something like record myself "interviewing" people on the streets asking their opinions on my show and getting horrible reviews etc etc.....but itll be tough to do all the voices. anything else would be great.....thanks everyone!

A poster made up this alter ego of Juan Huron with this horribly flaming (no offense to anyone intended) sig of "Juan" asking how he could get a try out for the NFL. He could run something like a 4.2 forty yard dash, and caught everything thrown to him and stuff. He was 19 years old or something like that, and he has become a legend on here

Well at least for the short term. A little break with "Fight Texas Fight" playing while Dolphin's nation pledges support to Texas over Bama in the National Championship. God how I hate Nick Saban.
This actually could be quite fun for the remainder of the season. Sick, you could record a "former coach of the week" bit where you feature one of our failures as a coach, give their career record or some memorable plays/calls (Like Saban sissy tossing the red flag or how he used to grab his *** when he got mad). Then throw in some off the wall facts about them as well (just make **** up) Or a where are they now feature on former players. I also see no problem with just tossing a song or two on from one of our "owners." Fergie, J.Lo, Marc Anthony, Buffet, etc. Just to break up the monotony. Or perhaps feature some of the music from the artists on here. Obviously Pagan has a library to choose from and I know ANLGP has recorded music. Might be a cool way to build camraderie on the boards.
Get you a co host..I hear they do wonders... you can always pre record a news cast about current events. Sporting prob. the best option. Of course skits about current sporting events always are gold. The woods thing could fuel hours of skits. Sponsers....get some....make some up...run skits for them....Gaps anal wash.....etc.
Spoof movies. Heck an Anchorman spoof would be epic. Pre record one movie a week with your buddies. I will be happy to be Brick (Lord knows I hear the jokes all the time).
man i figured if you were going to throw an insult with anal in there you could have come up with something better than that.. that's not even trying that hard.
You know? Top three sports related jokes of the week could work. Essentially find yourself three jokes that are current, pre-record with laughter, booing or whatever added in and push play. Hell just a top five/ten list of whatever could work. Top five Jet draft blunders, Miami free agent blunders, plays in Miami history, etc. If you get into each one with a little pre-recorded description as well, it could easily soak up about five to ten minutes. Drop some football music underneath it and you have a nice little segment that can fuel discussion in the chat and on the phone. Also, and I hate to say it because it means less time for me too, but maybe limiting the callers time on the phone. I love when everyone calls in, but spending more than a couple of minutes with the same guy (unless its a special guest or something) typically tends to lose an audience. Maybe a rapid fire caller segment towards the end where callers have to just fire somethig off real quick (the subject could change each week: For instance you could have a rapid fire segment where people have to use one word to describe Ted Ginn, then the next week their superbowl predictions, etc.).
How about you record audio of yourself during the dolphins games, then create a segment of your reactions to various plays in the previous week's game.
Aw jeez: "Wow, so you have a flat tire?" "Pizza is here" "Nice shoes, can I hit that" Not seeing it FF....
