    Hmm...I think he is:

    or:

Amazing...the return of Jason Allen? He did play well against the Patriots in both games this season, and he is more physical than Nate Jones, but still, about to make the playoff push I'd prefer Nate Jones.

Well, look at it this way, in the 4th qtr with the game on the line, Nate Jones was not in the game, Jason Allen was out there on Wes "potty mouth" Welker.

And JA did a good job! that is simply a stunning turnaround for Allen...

To me Nate Jones has "grown" the most since the beginning of the year...he has been around the ball quite often.

Welker sort of owned him the first game, in the second game Jones got back to even.

JA though...our 3rd nickel back this season, I'd prefer Jones as he has more experience.

Allen deserves to see more playing time. Nate Jones is more consistent, by Allen has proven he can be a playmaker when given the chance.

I would actually have preferred to see Jones or Allen cover Welker the whole game, because Wes was beating Sean Smith all over the field on Sunday.

Exactly what I was going to say myself, this is not a good thing if we lose him for any amount of time.

I hope JA continues to play well and NJ has a very speedy recovery.

i dont think we should get caught up too much in jason allen playing ok a few plays when he was fresh against WW who had been playing all game....

and i know he has made some plays on STs in the past....but honestly ive seen hartline make more tackles on special teams than JA......

Allen is down right terrible, the fact that someone can watch his play and say anything that even resembles good is insane imo. He's continuasly getting beat, whether the QB hits the wideout or throwns on him is another story...

JA sucks, he's not even doing as good on STs this year. Thank god he's gone after this year

Jason Allen gets a bad rap. He hasn't been bad in coverage when he has gotten a chance to be on the field. Anyone remember a couple years ago when he was asked to cover Moss? And he did it effectively?

Well, to me JA has been "okay" before the torches come out, let me point out that the long TD's that he gave up are no worse then Sam Aiken planting a size 12 on Sean Smith's chest as he ran him over for an 80 yd TD reception.

Or Vontae's twin long TD passes surrendered to Moss in each game.

Or Vontae being toasted in Buffalo or...I think I made my point.

JA's has had some nice plays this year, in limited duty (where he should stay imho) he is fast as well as quick and he is a hitter, albeit a poor tackler as he doesn't wrap up he just sort launches instead of form tackling.

Not that I disagree with you, but what have you seen on the field to make you think he sucks that bad?

HEHE i like Wes "potty mouth" Welker new nickname i never realized he had that ugly attitude.
It was good they put fresh legs on him later in the game, helped keep Wanker a bit more under control.
