I think that might have something to do with more game xp. Interesting, does anyone remember if Aaron Rogers projected to look anything like this? How the hell did he fall. Right now if you were to ask me, there's not one, one Qb I would take right now instead of him. Not Manning or Brady, I mean, his stats are so crazy, even Gruden said they look fake. Man, these dumb PI penalties are killing the game. You gotta let the Db play..it seems like you even sniff the reciever off their route, out comes the flag. Posted via Mobile Device
I wasn't a huge follower of the Draft at the time but I imagine it would have something to do with Tedford's history. He's an amazing QB coach but something goes wrong when they go to the NFL. Didn't Rodgers have arm concerns or something too? I honestly can't remember other than the Tedford thing as well as his awkward release and all. Either way, I think he's a damn good quarterback. He holds on to the ball too long at times but when he lets it go, he's so good. I think his ability to roll out and throw the deep ball is the best in the league. He throws a beautiful deep ball.
His numbers are what I would project a Chad Pennington with a strong arm to be like. 24 td - 6 ints...zero ints EVER in the red zone Posted via Mobile Device
Damn, refs are out to get the away team tonight. Calling everything on the Ravens and letting the Pack get away with murder. But I'm not complaining...
Arm strength wasn't an issue as far as I know. I liked him a lot more than Alex Smith, and thought he'd be a top 10 pick (Rodgers I mean). I was happy when Smith went #1, because he was the player I wanted least that was rated up that high. It really seems like it was the "tedford curse" that knocked Rodgers down, but perhaps he put people off in his interviews as well.
If Henne keeps working...improving his touch and strengtening his core like CK had mentioned, I can see him putting up some jaw dropping numbers as well, but Rogers mobility is HUGE. Joe Montana anyone? Posted via Mobile Device
alot of times it looked as if henne had some open field to take off.....would like to see him do that every blue moon
I know we're supposed to root for Baltimore to lose to make the playoffs, but I ****ing hate the Packers with a passion. They're team, the announcers (jaws) who constantly slobber over Rodgers, their fans, and their ridiculous home-field refs. Go Ray Rice.
Kory Hall has become a decent player for the Packers. IIRC, he came in as a linebacker from Boise State.
