This is the worst three point shooting team I've seen in some time.

And we've got a ton of three point threats on this team. Doesn't add up.

Wow Beasley. He is playing a **** of a game right now. Beasting.

9-2 run by Beas alone where he's also owning the boards.

This is what we need to do. Give him the ball, back off, and watch him take his man off the dribble. He's getting FT's at worst.

That takes so much pressure away from Wade.

Heat have to beat the refs as well, though. Boston gets every single questionable call in their favor -- much like the Lakers.

 

Heat get down 3 and what does Wade do? Yup. You ****ing guessed it. Chucks up a triple and misses.

Heat and Dolphins suck. What a disturbing Sunday. Thank you Hurricanes.

I honestly think Wade is in Pat Riley mode right now... sitting around while having fun waiting for next July.

 

When the Heat are in town for the weekend... Wade lives at Opium. I always see him there with Dorell and Q.

 

BTW - Michael Beasley is having a hell of a run these past 5-6 games. He's not just hot or anything, he's a completely different player than anything we've seen since Kansas State. He's back to his good ol' aggressive play that we drafted him for in the first place. The guy is simply BEASTING. He's playing defense, too. I can comfortably call him the best player on this basketball team over the last week or two. We should try running the offense through him more -- even when Wade is in the game, like we've been doing tonight. If anything in the least bit, it keeps Wade's legs fresh for the final drive. It's exactly what we used to do with Shaq.

18/4 in the first half tonight -- EIGHT free throws attempted. His career high I believe is 10.

 

Beasley has been kicking *** lately, I think he could very well put up 35 by the time the game ends.

I also like how we're we keep counting on Wade to put it up and Beas dunks it.

 

Portland has 14 offensive boards through 3 quarters -- that's the only reason they're in this game.

And they'll probably win it because of that if I know my team well enough.

 

Finally a double double for Wade. First of the season!

 

Sigh. I wish I was wrong on my prediction.

Greg Oden apparently cannot foul.

Beas has a career high in FTA and he should have about 4-8 more.

 

Lmao that's the funniest **** I've seen...Greg gets the worst treatment from officials I've ever seen..I don't remember him fouling Beasly, i just remember the clean block but nothing else between those 2.

Beastley has averaged 19 points and 9 rebounds over the last 7 games.

 

Agreed. If he ever gets an offensive post game he's going to be the best center in basketball, but man does he have a ways to go. His post offense is maybe slightly better than Joel Anthony.

He gets to the line enough, though, since teams fear his size.

Yes, sir! And please note that before the switch Brandon Roy had a 14 point first quarter. Pretty much blanked from there on out by Q. 5 points through the following three quarters, and a lot of crying for fouls.

 

Great team win by the Heat. It's good to see that even if Wade gets double teamed the rest of the team can be counted on. Everyone was shooting the lights out from mid to long range. There's some good depth from the bench.

I now know why Beasley is playing PF. No PF or C can guard him. Especially off the dribble. If he plays SF he doesn't get the miss matches. Against slower bigger guys, it's no contest, Beasley can make swift moves to the basket. It's probably been mentioned before but I'm late to the party.

I don't give a damn what any media outlet or persons "close to Bosh" has to say about how much he loves Canada and being the focal point of the franchise. He's clearly furious with the team and organization. This isn't the first time he's called out his team's effort in the media. Not only that, but he's called out the organization many times, i.e. when Mitchell was fired. He's a GONER! Welcome to Miami, my boy. I wanted you back in 2003, yes, over Wade at the time. It'll be a dream come true for me.

Seriously how many games has Wade blown at the FT line?

Hell, he blew Game 6 of the 06 Finals at the FT line but Jason Terry failed to nail the shot.

 

whoa!!!! slow down. he missed a ft. there's still no one else on this roster i'd rather have at the line in that moment.

 

Wade has been trash this year. Period. I'm his biggest fan in the world but I am losing a ton of respect for him. He's not taking the season seriously because he knows as much as we know... the ceiling is second round and out. There are a lot of things that you guys don't know that I'm not really at the liberty to discuss so I'll leave it at that. My frustrations with Wade goes much deeper than tonight. All I'm going to say is that he ditched on his training this summer to party it up, and Miami's training staff is VERY displeased with him. He came into camp overweight and still isn't up to par yet in terms of what's expected from him. He failed or scored very low on quite a few of his conditioning tests, but of course no one is going to report that. I think it's a complete lack of disrespect for his teammates, not only that, but you saw JVG call him out for it tonight as well; he doesn't get the call on one end, walks back down the court and leaves his teammates 4 on 5. I appreciate the 3 minutes of defense he actually played on Kobe in the 4th Q, but come on. Where is the effort? It's been missing all year for the first three quarters.

I don't like that attitude. Kobe Bryant would NEVER... If Wade put forth half the effort Kobe does 24/7-365 he'd be up for GOAT consideration.

I'm a realist. Always call it how I call it. Don't care who you are. At this point, I think Wade deserves at least a few **** you's... we all do at some point. He definitely does right now.

 

And it's not one free throw... it's SIX. 15 total for the team, but SIX by an individual. We lost by a miracle shot in LA that should of never been. Very disheartening.

I called it on Twitter that he'd split or miss both FT's, though. He always does in that situation. Always. Even in the 06 Finals as I mentioned.
