sad, but those numbers are actually pretty good when compared to other countries and other bad things. think about it - only 1 in 50.... those are pretty good odds.
People who hurt kids or animals should spend a very long time in jail, or be executed if they kill their kids. I used to work for the sheriff's office and often talked to people in the victim's crime unit. It is pretty sad and disgusting what some people do.
