Yeah I know, but this Buffalo team is the same one we played not long ago, and hardly better than the one we swept last season.
Because its the stadium I guess? lol The Billygoats are not a good team. I'm not saying the Dolphins win but if they don't it won't be because of the stadium, thats for sure...
one of the really miserable stadiums to play in the NFL however don't think they can be thrilled to play us the second time Miami is one of those teams you just don't want to play a second time there will be blood!
Ricky has looked unstoppable. A lot of people are talking about him not being able to handle the workload. I think he can handle a 20+ carry workload. He gets stronger as the game goes on. Keep feeding him the rock and watch the yards per carry go up and up. Miami should beat Buffalo and then if they can beat New England, that would put them at 5-1 in the division and 7-5. If New England loses to the Saints, that would put us in nice position for the final stretch.
Ricky will be just fine not to worry. he likes to run in that stadium for whatever reason Friend Ozzy: grass or lack of it? that buffalo crowd could use a sedative. mean to the bone & they throw chicken wings & beer @ you during the game
Nice edit. I agree moreso with this. Division games though. I think all division teams look forward to playing the rival teams and especially if they can play spoiler.
Go back and read the thread from the beginning. Stadiums have nothing to do with it. The weather is way more important. All about what happened back in 2002.
Buffalo crowd is the most fairweather in the NFL. When they're real good they show, when they suck they sit and shut their mouths. I've been to many a game here in Miami and when we play Billy, they come pounding their chests, acting like beasts, and if Miami's up big near the end of the game, you see them taking off their jersey's trying to blend in ....
exactly....and thats why last years "road" game against buffalo didnt matter.....it was in a cozy 72 degree dome
its not only the weather that hurts in buffalo, it's the fans the place is one of the most miserable stadiums to visit in the NFL the edge we have is that we man-handled them in our last encounter that's got to be in their head. like I said no one looks forward to a second game with Miami the NewMiamiDolphins inflict pain & pound throughout the game win or lose, it's always an unpleasant experience
No need to be so defensive man. I read the entire thread and had you answered weather, I had an answer for it. Miami's team from last year to this, has quite a few players that are used to playing in extreme cold. One last year was Pennington. Another this is Henne....
Hell Ricky will run wild cause lets face it the Bills run defense is atrocious. As a team I expect the around 170 someodd yards they give up a game. Hell I expect Hilliard to even crack 50-60 yards on limited carries.
one game @ a time respect & brutality are the order of the day we will win or lose in the trenches never good to get ahead of yourself I think we'll win, but on any given day ... may the Pod play large & Ricky run strong we need to run the table
Forecast for Sunday's game.... Partly Cloudy Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 40s and lows in the upper 30s
Gotta say, though, while it remains a big rivalry, the last few times I've gone, I've actually been received pretty well and had some pretty good times with the Buffalo fans. Contrast that to the late 80s, early 90s when I had an entire section of people changing "A__Hole" at me It used to be brutal for the visitors and the visiting team's fans. Now, their edge is lost after missing the playoffs for going on 10 years. Even in '07 when I went, I had more feeling sorry for me than those who were pointing out just how bad we were. It's still tough, but they truly have lost their edge. And it will likely remain that way till they start winning again. Heck, I expect a decent Dolphin-fan contingent this Sunday!
ARCTIC WOLF!! LMAO!!! That is good stuff... How could you not remember that game with the masked Ricky Avenger! And Henne's from Michigan so it shouldn't bother him in the least either. Arctic Wolf...
After the KC game last year, a come from behind win in what turned out to be the coldest game the Dolphins have ever played in, cloudy and 40ish in Buffalo is not so daunting. Can't wait to see Wake playing in that weather, that was the norm in the CFL.
Hopefully Buffalo will be locking the radar on Ricky so hard that kid Turner might get to go catch a ball. I think Ricky will have a very good game. I will be rooting for the Saints this week to
