Wade being spanked on both sides of the floor again. Does he have a court date coming up or something? This is why I'm not getting married until I'm 40.

who the **** else to do you expect when Haslem is out and Beasley is in foul trouble?

wanna play James Jones on Josh Smith? Cook on Horford?

    seriously...come on HD.

Spo is a GREAT coach. Not good...not okay...not really good...but GREAT.

You expect him to coach like it is the 7th game of the finals every game.

OUR scrubs have to step up.

In case you haven;t noticed...when we go with our scrubs...they are playing their scrubs....

tonight...Marvin Williams BY HIMSELF in their scrub lineup outplayed three bench scorers in Arroyo, Jones, and Cook.

    gotta play better.

you want "run the team into the ground, win every single game, and play Wade 89 minutes a game SPO". not gonna happen.

BTW..Wade lost this game tonight. he was non-existant. He has played 2 horrible games in a row. Our defense has been bad in 3 of the last 4.

Wade Brings it either one of these last two nights...we win.

No offense, but after that line I felt no need to read any further. Come on, bro. You're the ultimate homer. That's not a knock, but it's evident.

There is no way Spo is a GREAT coach... at least not YET, not even CLOSE. He's a GREAT x's and o's guy, but he's horrendous at making adjustments on the fly and his rotations throughout have been questionable to say the very least. Two things that a young coach has the chance to get better at, though, fortunately. But to call him a GREAT coach at this stage? Laughable.

Pat Riley is a great coach. Phil Jackson is a great coach. Erik Spoelstra????? Above average. Decent. On the cusp of being possibly "good enough" with a potential talent loaded squad next year.

And I LOVE Spo. I'm his biggest fan. I was calling for Spo to be our coach before anyone. I cursed the **** out of Riley for that Rothstein crap. I just keep it 100.

You got thanked by "Finsanity"...so I guess I am right.

That should make you rethink your stance.

I stand by it. SPO is one of the great young coaches in the NBA today.

BTW...I can;t be that much of a homer when I end up picking almost exactly the amount of wins they were gonna have last year.

    a homer picks 50.

    not 44.

One of the "great young" coaches in the league meaning great for his experience level with a ton of potential, or overall great with all things considered? Major difference.

That's a Brandon Jennings vs. Chris Paul difference for lack of a better example.

If you had to pick a young coach ...who would you pick? I think SPO is a lock.

best young coach in the league. we are lucky to have him.

as for the team...hey..we got a win..but what has happened to our defense?

our offense is rolling now..but our defense is gone? and GONE from every player except JO.

they got a month (december) to get 10 games over .500..because January and February are brutal.

i think you guys are saying almost the same thing. to be honest, i'm sure the bucks and hornets are thrilled with their pg situation.

it's going to be hard for this team to consistently defend all season due to the lack of height. the only non-undersized starter we have is jo (maybe chalmers) so that might explain o'neal's good d. to be honest, in today's nba, 6'11" might border on being undersized for a 5.

after 2010, if we get "longer," it'll be a lot easier to defend. q-rich returning and beasley's maturation will help a little (yes, i believe him when he says he's been sober since aug. 6th. he looks a lot less dumb, or passive and has a lot more energy).

We can't go into the playoffs with a Chalmers / Arroyo rotation at PG.

Has to be the worst in the NBA.

Overall, though, it's amazing how fast this team blows a big lead.

He can hit the three he's just completely off right now. He's depending on the refs to bail him out... Throwing his body and terrible shot attempts up looking for the BS calls he (and every other superstar) usually gets.

This is the most boring Heat team I've watched since Jimmy Jackson and Laphonso Ellis.

Forget the playoffs... Can we just skip to July 10?

Talk about OUTCOACHED. We're running the same offense every possession. Dribble the shot clock down with Wade and take a low percentage shot.

Jermaine isn't even touching the ball. I don't get it.

Wade may bail you out again, though, Spo. He just might.

Complete disaster of a setup with an entire 9 seconds to go, but Beasley saves the day.

Disgusting. Horrible non-call on the offensive interference, but had Williams made his FTs it wouldn't have mattered.

Yeah, horrible non-calls throughout every time Dwight Howard elbows JO, Anthony, Haslem, or Beasley down low. In fact, you can say that about all 11 of your wins. But do we? Nah, it's a part of the game. I don't want to hear that garbage. The ball wasn't even over the rim. Believe me, I called goaltending when watching it live, but checking the replay, NOPE.

You lost to an inferior opponent tonight... that your head coach out coached... that your team out played... in your house... It's the NBA. It happens. Happy Thanksgiving.

It didn't look like offensive interference to me. At first it did but when I saw the replay, I don't think so. That was just a great play by Beasley.

The replays I saw showed they ball over the rim when he grabbed it. Oh well, like I said make the free throws and it doesn't matter. At least it was an entertaining game.

    BTW HD...SPO....GENIUS.

nice sub for Wade to the PT. and running Cook on screens...He knew SVG would switch every P&R and cause D12 to leave the basket.....

how do you think JO got 68 rebounds?

    PURE GENIUS.

No bad mood. Good mood. I just fail to see this "genius"

Spo called a beautiful game tonight and screwed it up in the final three minutes or so. I was getting mad as hell while watching Haslem go on that 0-for-3 run. I love UD, but his shot simply wasn't dropping tonight, so get Beasley in there. Every possession was that of the same - iso / screen Wade, dribble the ball for 18 seconds then put up a terrible shot (I counted 4 fade away jumpers with a hand in Wade's face in the final three minute stretch). There was a stretch where Wade missed four straight, Haslem missed three straight, and Cook missed one. Luckily JO grabbed a few of those offensive boards. Spo put too much pressure on the defense in closing, and it's a good thing Pietrus missed two thousand wide open triples. Good thing J-Will choked like he normally does. Good thing three guys met Wade at the free throw line to contest a shot that had no chance in dropping leaving Beasley as the only rebounding option on either team. Seriously, that finally possession was a disaster from the get go. We couldn't even get the ball into Wade's hands, then he got a shot you'd normally avoid.

Kudos for Beasley being in the right place at the right time and making the play of his young career.

Offensively, you can;t blame SPO for what happened down the stretch...he did what he always does.

We had a 5 point lead with less than 3 minutes to go....

he handed Wade the ball and said...go win it. Wade missed shots. Like he did most of the night.

Wade missed three consecutive shots that would have closed out the game.

All three came off screen and roll with Wade flashing out. The Magic failed to guard all three plays and got there late. Wade missed the shots.

Wade then tried to hit the people that were open on our P&R's....THEY MISSED SHOTS.

Then Vince hit that three on a very well defended play.

I thought SPO showed how good a coach he is.

He recognized what SVG would do if we went big in the backcourt and used Wade at the point.

SVG WILL NOT...EVER..EVER..NOT call for switches. He wants his team to switch everything. he has length and athleticism..so it usually works out....it didn;t tonight.

SPO created bad matchups for the magic. That is why we went from 11 down to 5 ahead in the 4th.

it allowed JO to get early position on Howard and allowed him to hold his own down low. (more than hold his own..he got 16 boards)

But yes...Chalmers has been a defensive disaster this year.

Dwyane Wade is shooting like 41% for the season right now. He's had like two or three Wade-like shooting performances in 15 games so far this season. I'm pretty worried about where his head is, because from what I've seen, it's only in the games when we're playing against LeBron or something... and that one crazy night where he went off on Washington.

When you're at home playing the Wizards (yes, I know Jamison is back but chemistry wise that team is a finger pointing out in the media DISASTER) and Chalmers gives you 20, J.O. gives you 19 and 13, Beasley gives you a solid night... no reason in the world for Dwyane Wade not to be able to will his team to victory. Absolutely none. He's got to get it together, man. I really don't know what it is. It's almost as if he's not even trying out there at times when he's completely off yet he's still taking contested jumpshots possession after possession. Not only that, but he's fallen in love with this three point shot of his that, uh, ain't too hot.

Too much UStreamTV / Twitter fun with Q-Rich and Dorell. Every big party that I hear about, people say they saw Wade and his entourage out there. I've seen him a few times nights before home games as well out on the prowl. We're talking Opium at 4-5am when I know damn well Spo has a night before curfew program enforced. I mean, enjoy yourself, but do your job. I'm not seeing the effort that I'm used to seeing with Wade. I don't mind his shot being off, but he's not playing with his usual fire and he's displaying a total lack of effort, IMO.

Come on D-Whistle! You're one of the three best basketball players on this earth. Get it together and **** the **** out of this league like you did last year.

Kind of crazy that we're about to go from 7-2 to 9-10 or 10-9.

    Next four games:

    vs. BOS
    @ POR
    @ DEN
    @ LAL

1-3 at best during that stretch. 0-4 wouldn't surprise nor disappoint me. They're all far better teams than we are. Significantly. What pisses me off is that with this tough stretch coming up, we've got home losses to Oklahoma City and Washington, and a road loss to Toronto. Not only that but we blew quite a few games that we had in our hands, i.e. Phoenix.
