Bench him after a shaky start, then change your game plan to allow the new QB to succeed. Beck must be feeling like a total arse right now, Cameron totally screwed him.

Honestly I've been rooting for Beck all season but he has shown that he isn't ready for the NFL yet.... He may become a good QB but it's not going to be this season.

I agree.... Horrible playcalling and very predictable for Beck. He decides to open it up for Cleo.... Well. I think I had enough of Cam. I think you guys might be right. He is not suited to be a HC...

What hasn't Cam screwed up this season? Every decision he makes backfires on him. Why should anyone be surprised that he screwed this up as well?

Yeah, that was somewhat dubious. Why never try that play with Beck in the game? Also, notice how the offensive linemen all of a sudden remembered how to run-block? Weird...

If MM is calling the plays and doing most of the game planing then I blame him more then Cam.

Although if Cam gave him the job then you can blame Cam for that cant you?

My goodness, maybe we should send beck for counseling...

Beck was fumbling all over the darn place for the last two weeks, he deserved to sit on the pine.

Guy's Im re-watching the Jets game and the start of today and can't help be reminded of AJ Feely. I honestly hope we haven't crushed this rookies self confidence. Cameron has made soo many bad moves.... I guess he was right an knew better then all the draft experts..........

but it is a no-win situation, we needed to find out what Beck could do

Shaky !? No man that was just L A M E ! 1st play he trips over the center ! He's getting worse in every game, not better.

Hell, I could have done what he did in this game and I'm 41.

He let Beck get 2 throws:( So Cleo Lemon is our future:( I don't know about Beck but Cam sucks for sure. Beck made as dumb a play as you can make but this offense is not his fault. Ronnie Brown was making the O Line look a lot better than they are. Cam should be fired after today and I don't care who takes over for this year. I have supported Cam all I can but this is it. He is the poorest coach in NFL history:(

Lemon tripped how many times? How many times did Lemon fumble the ball? How many INT's did Lemon throw? I don't see why we pulled Beck. The only way for him to learn from his mistakes is by playing.

Beck looked lost out there. He looked exactly what he is, a rookie QB on the worst team in the NFL by a mile. Cleo had a decent game, despite 4 fumbles and 2 interceptions. Its no suprise he succeded when Beck didnt, he has NFL experience, not much but he does have some and he knows the playbook, all of it.

Put Brady on the Dolphins team and we wouldnt win a game.

Cam has mis-handled everything he has touched. With the exception of lucking out on an offensive lineman.

Wayne needs to balls up fire him before Christmas and Hire both Bill parcells and Bill Cowher to run the show..

Beck has shown that he isnt ready for the NFL. Lemon will start from here on out. He gives us the best chance of getting that one elusive win before the season ends in three weeks. Plus at this point, Beck is simply getting worse every week. Who knows if he'll ever be ready.

I think we need Ronnie Brown back, better WR's and a pass catching TE to assist Beck and an O-Line to get some passion back, theve lost it because this losing streak gets to everybody eventually. Add to that a Defense that wont fold and injured players to stay injury free and BINGO! Instant improvement. Until then Beck is screwed.

How did he get worse in this game? He threw two passes. Yes, the fumble was a mistake, but it was a freak play in poor conditions. The ball slipped out of Lemon's hand later in the game as well. Other than that what can he be faulted for though? The line was putrid. The defense was getting to him when the ball was. He wasn't even getting to get set up in a 3 step drop. He did have a bad game last week, but I don't think anything can be determined after this game because he wasn't given a chance.

I completely agree with the original post. I have been behind Cam until now. Replacing Beck was stupid. Beck is just as capable as Lemon to roll out and throw down field to an open Ginn. He's really going to kill Beck's confidence. Especially if Lemon is named starter for next week.

Exactly! So how much time are we willing to give this "kid" I for one don't want to wait 2-4 years (in which he'll be pushing 30) to see if he's the next Drew Brees. It's too long of a time to wait on a Long shot

Look at yourt avatar man! Did you even watch Danny play?? For the last 4 years of his career he had nothing to work with! Now I'm not comparing Beck to Danny, I just find your sad little defense completely ironic

Don't be, any passer in this years draft taken #1 would be a reach.

You're assuming Beck is still in our plans next year. Cameron may have just given up on Beck. Only 1 QB drafted in the 2nd round in the last ten years has amounted to anything, Drew Brees. You have a 1 in 7 chance of success drafting a QB in the 2nd round versus a 1 in 4 chance of success drafting in the 1st

Personally I think any player taken number 1 overall is a reach this year. If we're going to reach let it be for a franchise QB

Marino wasnt the best in his last few seasons, JJ helped that.I just think its sad that when we say its a team game some ppl have to load up and have a pop at a Rookie QB. No Marty Booker who is IMO past it, No Chambers, Hagan isnt the answer, Ginn in his Rookie Season. No Ronnie Brown, Chatman dinged, Cobbs....Not good enough..Booker who? Gado!!! TE's are average at best. Losing season has now spread to the O-Line regarding attitude. And thats just our Offense. I wont start with the D.
Get a reality check bro. Freeking Brady can start for us and we would be lucky to win in the last few weeks since Beck has come in. Ironic is Wes Welker being praised from here to eternity from all the press like hes the best thing since sliced bread since he LEFT Miami. We breed losing right now and until that changes from top to bottom and not having a go at some Rookie QB thats all we will be and right now i would luv to be average.

So because a rookie QB on a bad team with zero talent around him has struggled in his first few games they're going to give up on him? It seems to me that there was a certain QB in Indy that threw 11 picks in his first 4 games and turned out ok. And he had Marshall Faulk and Marvin Harrison on his team. Sure only one QB drafted in the 2nd round in the last 10 years has had success, but much of that has to do with the fact that not many QB's are taken in the 2nd round. Most QB's who are 2nd round talent get taken in the 1st because they play QB. But that doesn't mean that Beck won't be a good QB or that any QB we take next year in the 1st would be.
