dana saying "oh ****" over and over again was ridiculous.....he looks ******ed.

 

at least they're not getting drunk every second, and crying and in-house fighting, and dropping loads in eachothers sushi. that one season was horrible.

 

i mean fight-wise. these fighters are outta shape, no clear cut favorite....and its been completley boring. watching the "free" prelims on saturday before ufc 104.....i was amazed how good some of those no-names looked.....cause i have been watching this ****ty display of "fighting" on tuf 10....

Roy Nelson is a complete douche who I can't stand. I hope he gets knocked the f out! Matt Mitrione is another douche i cant stand!!!

 

ho-lee-crap...did you see next weeks preview? man, that dude looks like he's on the wrong side of a serious slam. ko potential for sure. definitely has me interested for next week.

Judges this year are unbelievable. There have been so many fights that I thought deserved a 3rd rd. I am with Rashad tho and this is the fight that needed a 3rd rd. I think Roy Nelson would have won but there is no way he one that 1st rd.

Schaub vs. Big Country....I really thought Jones was going to do it.....Houston Alexander vs. Kimbo Slice could be a slugfest....

Not as lame as me catching the 11 PM replay and following it up with Teen Wolf on HBO8. For some reason, I watched the whole thing.

Those staredowns crack me up though. And the blowup doll wearing Rashad's shorts was hilarious.

 

We finally got some decent fights ... it took until the end of the season. Line of the night was Mitrione admitting that he "tapped like a *****." I'm semi-excited to see Kimbo fight again, though it's clear they're bringing in someone who will want to stand up and fight him. I'm also excited to get a chance to see Big Baby get a shot at Meathead. My money's on Big Baby, though Dana hinted that Mitrione has pretty good punching power, and I'm not convinced Marcus can take a punch, after watching him get knocked out last night.

The smart money's on Roy Nelson in the finals. I fully expect Nelson to go for the dreaded SBOD (Suffocating Belly of Doom) just as he has against everyone he's faced thus far. I think Jones would have been a better matchup for him, Schaub will have to try and knock Roy out from a distance (Something that's never been done before).

I was so glad to see McSweeney get his comeuppance after he went into full douche mode during the show. That's what you get when you decide to stat showboating in the middle of a fight. Dumbass.

shaub beat marcus in semi finals.......roy beat mcksweeny in semi finals.....kimbo turned down offer to fight for mitrone.....cause of his knee...

saturday roy nelson fights brendan shaub for the contract......also kimbo fights houston alexander on the card and i believe marcus "big baby" fights meat head mitrone......

You could see Marcus' inexperience in that fight. It's like he said, 2 years ago he didn't even know how to throw a punch. 1 second into the fight and he'd already taken a good shot.

What surprised me was how Shaub was able to get off the ground. Marcus had side and full mount in one sitting and Shaub got out of it. Shaub was in a bad spot for most of the fight and managed to stay out of real danger. He caught Marcus on the way up and that was it.

One thing that's clear: Marcus can probably take anybody down. He's still got a lot of that explosion from his playing days. And for all that inexperience, he's got a pretty advanced ground game. But he's just really green standing up and overall. You can't take your eyes off your opponent in transition like that.

 

Should be a good card Saturday night. McSweeney and Titties are fighting. Also Frank Edgar and Matt Veach, who looked good at the UFC Fight Night here in Tampa. Matt Hamil and John Jones is the fight I wanna watch.

Also have Paul Williams fighting on HBO. I'm skipping the ACC Championship at Ray Jay to watch these fights live.

 

OMG my boy came soooo close. I knew Marcus lost but could not blieve it when he had full mount. When I talked to him I knew he beat tittes and that he lost. He was training for Mitrione too. Hope he goes and trains with another gym tho. His gym is great but he needs work on ground and pound plus stand up.

 

No wonder "titties" wants to kill Rampage....

that nickname is a tough one to shake....

man, schaub fought a beautiful fight. unbelievable ground escapes.

and what ever happened to fighters getting kicked off for house fighting?
mcsweeney and that kid they abused were trading blows big time.

and man, he got what he deserved in the big country fight. 2 seconds after showboating, and tellin him to bring it, he almost gets ktfo. oh that was beautiful.

and kimbo vs houston is VERY interesting. thats a tough fight for kimbo, houston has some nasty and polished stand-up.

I saw a science program once that was comparing the effect of ephedra vs. natural addreniline and he (Houston) was the test subject.Dude when his add. was at full peak he hit the dummy with so much force they said it was the same as being hit by a hammer.

 

i forgot to mention how out of line marcus jones was for going after meathead. how ridiculous was that? big dummy. and the funny thing is, when he was in his face. if mitrione clocked him, he'd have probably dropped him cold. mitrione can throw, and marcus cant take a punch well at all.

 

ya he looked pretty ****in ******ed with that mess......seriously he must be slow or something to actually think meathead did that on purpose, or purposely tried to end his career, wtf is he thinking?!
