NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says he's "encouraged" by suspended LB Odell Thurman's decision to participate in the Bengals' offseason program.
Goodell expects to make a decision on whether to reinstate Thurman before the start of training camp. As long as he keeps his nose clean between now and July, Thurman should be an active member of the Bengals this season.

I hope he also did. He is a hell of a talent as he displayed in his only year in the league. He had 100 plus tackles and five picks.

I agree. His only year in the league where he produced 106 tackles, 5 FF and 5 INT's, they won the AFC North. When he has been absent, they haven't boded well.

Yeah. I understand that their bad in run D but I am trying to figure out how they are bad in Pass D. They have two first round corners and they had Madieu Williams who was a good cover safety imo yet they can't get it done.

I dont thing it is the player some times maybe it is time ti switch up the coaching staff. Here is another example us the Miami Dolphins. You cant give the players all the blame for a 1- 15 record just like you cant give all the blame to the Bengals defense and plus all the destractions they had last year with other players

That's true but one thing that does stand out to me is that the players make the plays, not the coaches. The coaches can only do so much for a team. You throw out the example of the Dolphins last year and yes we did have some boneheaded coach decisions but our players did not execute and that comes down to them, not the coaches.

Lack of decent pass rush will hurt your pass D severely.
