I don't think we will. UM is just to cunning to show his cards. he's gonna make LSU waste time preparing for both.

What I think will happen is JB starts the game, even if TT is cleared to play. See how it goes from there.

I would start Brantley and mix in Tebow in certain situations smilarly to the 2006 QB situation except not use Tebow as a battering ram.

That should put the LSU defense on its heels wondering what is going on especially if there are wildcat plays mixed in as has been rumored.

I've seen this mentioned a couple different places, I'm having a hard time seeing Tebow used in spot duty at this point. If he's not healthy enough to start and play the whole game, he shouldn't play at all IMO. I really don't think we need to do anything special to have LSU's defense on their heels. Not trying to sound cocky, they're just not that great.

I should have said...mix in Tebow if needed...meaning we are losing .

I would sit Tebow if there was any doubt about any any lifetime sustaining injury but if he is cleared to play then I would reduce his playtime as much as possible.Maybe even as a decoy .

LSU's defense is not up to that of those in the past IMO. While they are an opportunistic lot (IMO), they are not the type to shut you down each and every drive.

LSU's offense isn't exactly great either, as the running game has been poor (at best). The WRs are really good, possibly great, but with the QB they have it doesn't really matter that much, they may as well be average.

Agreed, going into last week's games LSU had the 99th ranked offense in the nation (yards/game).

If we play to our ability, we will win this game, no matter who starts at QB. If for some reason we don't, it will be a long night.

    I have confidence we will.

This is a statement game for our defense, they had a rough night the last time we were in Baton Rouge. They will definitely have a chip on their shoulder.

Thank you brother. The Tigers are gonna come out all jacked up, no doubt in my mind about this. We are going to be in a very hostile environment but we are the better team by a long shot.

Everyone knows Tebow is going to play, its unfortunate the media hypes it up to make him look like a hero if he plays well, and a built in excuse if he doesnt.

Really? Just like everyone knew Percy Harvin was going to play against Bama last year. He didn't, and the game was much closer than it should have been because he didn't. Tebow will play if he's cleared to play by the doctors, his aliment is binary. It's either (off or on) it's there or it isn't. I agree that the media is hyping it. That is how they make their money.

    Gators ready to go

Also good news on the injury front, Marsh and Thompson are both good to go for tomorrow's game.

You should live 10 mins east of Baton Rouge like me, it's probably worse.

I like LSU (not as much as they do), so it isn't a big deal though.

    Geaux Tigers! :shifty:

But if Tebow plays poorly (wich I doubt he will) he will be given a pass, and if they lose (wich they wont) Florida will be given a pass. Just the sad world we live in.

Given a pass? How so? If by chance we lose to the #4 team in the nation who is sporting a 31 game night home game winning streak we should just drop off the map and never be heard from again?

If Tebow doesn't play and Florida loses, everyone and their mother will say Florida only lost because they didn't have their Heisman winner at the helm. Or if Tebow plays and they lose, it will be because Tebow is rusty and still trying to get back in the groove.

You're smart enough to know that would be how it plays out Motion.

(when I say everyone, I am referring to general public and media)

Not sure how you got they should never be heard of again from what I said, but Stitches spelled it out pretty well.

Fair enough, I won't argue with that. Although I'd say the same would happen to just about any major contender under the same circumstances.

At the end of the day its the voter's opinion that counts.

Hopefully this whole "what if" is a moot point anyway. :wink2:

Jefferson sucks. I know he's a sophomore, so I should probably take it easier on him, but I just can't find it in me given how awesome his WRs are.
