CBs Vontae Davis, Sean Smith make statement http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/sfl-dolphinscbs-100509,0,1819155.story?track=rss http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thed...s-talking-points-mano-a-mano-on-monday-night/
Man it feels like it's been a while since we had "feisty" attitude in our secondary. THese two kids are having fun and going to do great things for us.
It's hard not to think Madison/Surtain when you look at these two kids. The scary thing is that these guys might end up better.
Yes he is!! He has developed into a very good Cb and was just signed to a new deal. I don't see him losing his starting job this season at all.....
I'm actually more disappointed in whoever was responsible for signing him....Wilson is what he is. A poor match with Bell Not to mention a very mediocre talent...
well with the way the rules have changed, being a CB in this league is harder than it was being a CB in their time. So really, they just might.
Keep Will Allen and Sean Smith as CBs and move Vonte Davis to safety in the off season and possibly draft Eric Green to go with this team and you would have a total transformation in our secondary.
So much is depending on Sean Smith to play at a high level for all of the Jets fans hysteria over Bray..lin...Edwards, Will Allen should be able to man up on him, meaning Smith v Crocthey is the matchup of the game. The though is Edwards will free up Dustin Keller, still not seeing it, Bray'lin was not exactly freeing the Browns Te's or running game when he was in Cleveland...
I'm guessing if we see Allen on Edwards and Smith on Crotchery, it probably means Vontae will mainly cover Brad Smith, or Leon Washington if he lines up in the slot. Of course Pasquoloni could just rotate Smith and Davis like he did last week.
Ive been a fan a long time, and have never seen a saftey wear a dolphin uniform that i was blown away with, that included brock marion, louis oliver, gene atkins, mike stewart, blackwoods and many other average players. I really like the bullfrog.. Bob sanders, Troy P, Adrian wilson, we've never sniffed a player of that caliber here.
Different era.....but Dick Anderson and Jake Scott were probably the most dominating players we ever had at the position. Can't say my memory of them is all that clear, I was just a kid. I do remember them standing out tho.... I had high hopes for Oliver.......but he just wouldn't stop knocking himself out...lol
no it depends on how they play the game is in thier hands these guys can get it done expect to see them the starting corners before the end othe season
pretty good player, far from great, maybe the best we've had in the modern era, which makes my point.
