The first game against the Falcons we really didn't play well and the Falcons were clearly the better team. Last week we controlled the clock for 45 minutes and someone figured out a way to lose the game after totally controlling things on offense. Our defense didn't play well but we should have won Game 2. Things totally changed for us today on our first big drive. How can a team move 94 yards down the field and then fumble the ball through the end zone. This is the type of thing that only seems to happen to Miami....other teams don't beat us....we beat ourselves. I have no idea what Dan Henning is doing when we get in the Red Zone, but it obviously isn't working. We move the ball really well between the 20's, but then we get near the goal line and it is like Henning calls the most predictable plays ever. Had we taken a 7-0 lead our defense would have been fired up...but when you constantly move it down the field and then have to settle for 20 yard field goals, what's the point? You might as well just go for out on 4th down. I try to remain optomistic but you see what other organizations do to improve their teams and Miami just can't seem to do anything right. Other teams draft rookie QB's who help their team out right away.....we make a lot of questionable picks that kill us for many years. I will always be a Phin's fan but it gets old having to go through the same thing every year.
We could be alot of things but were not and thats the truth. 1. We need a Wr ,what was bill thinking 2. QB is still not settled 3. Do we keep ronnie after this year or start rebuilding the who offense. 4. Will allen, sorry but the guys just will not cut it, just to name a few
Should have beaten the Colts and certainly did have chances to take control of this game. 1-2 at the least.
this close to at least having a Win....... and no this isn't a Ginn bash post so don't thank me if you think it is.....like I said, all the great players now a days catching the ball can get some contact on a big play like this, and cry about it and catch a Pass interference call......Ginn ran back down field to his team and didn't complain to the ref......I'm glad he isn't going to make excuses to the refs but the fact he would have to is sad....you guys know if that was randy moss in the same situation he would have got the call
yeah we'll see. i mean, it could be worse. we could be the Jets and have our hopes built up just to get our hearts crushed....AGAIN. but hey, thats their legacy. at least theres no where but up for us.
Being a Jets fan is certainly not worse than being a Dolphins fan. They're 3-0 with a seemingly dominant Defense and an up and coming QB behind a young OL. We're 0-3 with a sucky defense and a young QB who looked overwhelmed today. I'd do anything to be in their situation
Most people prefer to not be patronized, buddy. Being an optimistic fan is not a crime. There are definitely some positives we can bring out of these games and we most definitely could be 2-1 right now (not saying that we should be). Honestly I just think that our hopes were too high with such a difficult schedule. We need to realize as fans that we are only 2 years removed from a 1-15 season and this is the 2nd year of the rebuilding project. Give it time. Don't be too anxious. It will come! Let's hope Penny is OK (Id hate to see him hurt again), but lets also hope that we see some positives outta Henne the rest of this season. Gloom and doom is great, but lets try and keep our heads up and respect each other at the very least. Go Phins!
