Kurt Angle got arrested at a Starbucks this morning for stalking his ex-girlfriend. Apparently police searched the car and found 2 vials of HGH.

Sadly, I'm not surprised or shocked by either development.

posted the arrest and stalking charge above, but had not heard about the HGH.

politically, Angle was winning the power struggle with Jeff Jarrett in TNA, but this might change that.

still not sure whether it was Rocka Khan or not, as it has been stated the ex girlfriend wrestled for TNA as well.

The bit with Santino and Freddie Prinze Jr. was actually pretty funny and well done. Santino is gold with the mike most of the time. And then Randy Orton had to come out and just ruin the beginning of Raw. Seriously do the writers think having him beat up FPJr. will draw him any heat? I hope that Cena just buries the guy at Summer Slam and just ends the Orton Era.

A few more thoughts from RAW:

Seriously when will the Horn/Chavo feud end? It's wasting valueble TV time. Isn't that what WWE Superstars or ECW is for?

The Mickie James/Gail Kim match was a train wreck. Especially the ending on a botched DDT, followed by a botched spin kick. Both girls looked pissed off afterwards. I really thought Kim was hurt on the DDT attempt.

The Cena interview was awkward as hell and just bad. Seriously he's talking about dog poop? When did he turn into Beavis or Butthead? Thankfully Jericho came in to somewhat save the interview. Maybe I shouldn't be rooting too hard for Cena to beat Orton at Summer Slam. Maybe I should root for Triple H to pull a power play and win the belt at the end just for the hell of it.

The only positives so far have been the Miz/Bourne and Kofi/Carlito matches. I'm slowly becoming a big Miz fan. He should get a nice run with the US Title sooner than later as he's already a decent mike worker and slowly getting better in the ring too.

I was able to catch RAW after the fact tonight. I was interested to see Prinze, just because he truly is a huge fan of wrestling and even worked as a writer for awhile. It came through during his time on screen. The opening segment was great with Santino and even though I am not an Orton fan by any means, I kind of like the character development of him bullying hsi way with each guest host. He is, essentially marking his territory to any new dog that may come into his yard. Its a nice little addition to an otherwise stale and boring character if you ask me. If played up properly, it can lead to an interesting conclusion down the line.

DX is so blah to me, but I did like seeing Legacy kick their ***. They aren't on the same playing field but the attack was well timed and made them come off looking better than previous. And is it just me or has Cody Rhodes been bulking up recently? He looked much larger than usual tonight. Not implying anything by that either.

The Kofi-Carlito match was very good and I wish they would go ahead and add a rematch to Summerslam...but they won't. I also liked the Bourne-Miz match and agree with Finkle about Miz. I hated him when he first came on the scene, but he has evolved so much. Very proud to see him turn it on. The Swagger-MVP match would have been good, but they are saving the payoff for down the road it seems like. I do like seeing them play up their contrasting styles and it is nice to see a fued brewing and developing between two mid-carders where neither is carrying a belt.

The women's match was AWFUL, which is unfortunate because both of those ladies are usually pretty crisp in the ring. I had high hopes. Oh well. And again, not to harp on it, but Mickie is gaining wait almost as fast as Cody Rhodes. Someone needs to tell her that she needs to start hitting the treadmill again.

Overall though, I liked RAW better than the previous couple of weeks. The guest host was kept to a minimum and when he was on screen, it was typically within the conext of the WWE universe and not really crowbarring too much in, which is how they SHOULD do it.

I have a feeling the Floyd Mayweather appearance will not be within the same vein, unfortunately.

I'm interested to see how he "bully's" Mayweather next week. Santino is great but I wish he got more ring time.

I would actually like to see Legacy take this match just so we can see a DX implosion, HHH and HBK at Mania one more time. Those two have the best matches.

Great chemistry between Kofi and Carlito. Great match like you said. I dont like that Bourne lost to Miz, plenty of people that could have jobbed to Miz. In Bournes hometown it would have been nice to see him get some love.

I agree about Mickie...which sucks. I am a HUGE Mickie James fan, but last night she was gasping, and was clearly outmatched physically by Gail Kim.

Yeh good show and Mayweather might be like Shaq was involved in almost everything.

Yeah I think it's obvious Cody Rhodes is on the 'WWE Weight Lifting Plan' while Mickie James is on the 'Goldust Diet'. That James/Kim match was just awful.

I was actually expecting Shawn to turn on Triple H last night. I don't know why but I just had a funny feeling he was going to before Legacy jumped them and I still think he will sooner or later to lead to a match at WM. I can see Legacy cheating to win at Summer Slam to set up an elimination match at Survivor Series or something like that. Maybe a Legacy vs. DX Hell in the Cell match at the next PPV or something.

As for Legacy I just never could get into them, they're so boring it's painful and I'm hoping it ends soon, with DiBiase branching out as a singles star with an IC/US Title push. Legacy has have been passed by in terms of heat and skills by both Jericho (although to be fair they're not even or ever were on the same level as he is) and The Miz on RAW. It's too bad the WWE won't give Jericho a stable. Imagine Jericho with a group of guys like John Morrison, The Miz, Big Show, Matt Hardy and Christian? It would definitely draw well, especially against guys Cena, HBK, Triple H and Jeff Hardy.

Oh well it's obvious the WWE will continue to push Orton down the fans throats. It's too bad.

I am a huge miz fan fyi glad to see him getting some love on here. Took you guys long enough :escape2:
I think jericho and big show really mesh well, and both are playing it up to the t. Hopefully they let these guys keep the belt for a long while and use it to build up the division.

The WWE, if they want to keep Legacy going, should really move them to Smackdown once Orton loses the Title and start to push Jericho as the #1 heel. They can slowly build up a Jericho and a returning face Edge feud for WM for the belt, depending on how long Edge is suppose to be out. It's something new and fresh. The E could also run a Triple H/Jericho program for WM too if they wanted. Really any combo of Jericho and a face would work. And if the E moves Legacy to Smackdown, then Jericho should get a stable. Both Matt Hardy and Christian are being wasted on B/C Level Shows, maybe even throw Shelton Benjamin in the group instead of Miz and Morrison since they're coming into their own without a group.

Yeah I also like the Jericho/Show team and judging by the looks of the tag team division they'll keep the belts for awhile. I mean does anyone really think Cryme Tyme will beat them at Summer Slam?

You know what I would like to see? I would like to see a heel faction that spreads out over the three brands. Nothing watered down like the NWO, but something where they have exclusive members on all three brands. I just think that would be cool and could open up some new storylines not only amongst brand specific wrestlers, but between the brands themselves.

As for Legacy, they are boring, but both are trying hard, and I give them credit for that. Neither one is lazy. And at times, they do show flashes of charisma that, leads me to believe that there is something there.

I didn't give any thought to Shawn going heel, but it would be great if he did. A superkick of HHH and an explanation the following week of how he was out. How he has outgrown this silly DX crap, but his 'friend' keeps roping him back in. His 'friend' refuses to let him be happy outside of the ring so now his 'friend' will fele the misery and pain that Shawn does...it could work.

I do think DiBiase has the look and talent to be the star of the group for sure. And yes I do give all 3 guys credit because they do try hard and from what I've read Orton has really done a 180 in terms of his locker room attitude etc. I just don't find them interesting at all. Cody Rhodes is the worst as he has as much personality as a stone. But hey they have mastered the 'I'm looking at the face in the ring and I'm pretending to look tough and like I want to beat him up at the same time' look. So kudos to them.

I would have loved for Shawn to have come back as Jericho's tag team partner. He could have explained him joining up with him because the fans turned their backs on him at WM and when he was out of action none of the fans ever called or wrote him asking if he was ok or when he's going to come back. It could have translated to a feud with Triple H by having Triple H and HBK still friends but HHH trying to talk Shawn out of it. Setting up a WWE title match between Jericho and HHH with HBK as the ref and have HBK superkick Triple H and cost him the title or something like that. Then HBK could use your storyline about how DX is silly and they're not in the late 20s/early 30s anymore and they need to grow up etc.

Haha thanks, I just read the results. Can't wait for Orton's promo on RAW talking about his greatness.

I'm still trying to figure out why the WWE would waste some of their talent they should be trying to showcase on their 2nd biggest PPV of the year on a Kane/Khali match. Why isn't The Miz, Kingston or Morrison working tonight?

Great points. Although, I think there is about to be a fairly large shift in who the WWE starts to promote. ME thinks the glass ceiling is about to shatter for a couple of the youngins...just a hunch. :shifty:

Of course not. Do you really think HBK or Triple H would lay down for them at a PPV? Really it would be for the best if DiBiase split from the group tonight and went on his own.

I don't really watch too much TNA anymore, as I feel that they have become even more stale than the WWE product. And ODB isn't my ex GF, so no, it doesn't tick me off.

I like how Mayweather 'isn't there yet'. Kind of makes the whole guest host thing pointless. Much like the first 20 minutes of RAW. But hey at least we got to hear an original and funny joke about Michael Vick and PEDA. Those DX guys are so crazy.

Oh yippie MVP's partner is Mark Henry, that tag team is going to set the world on fire. I'm shocked the WWE is still paying Henry. You should have thought after 13 years of sucking and never being over they would learn. I guess not.

Honestly I say this every week but why the hell is this Chavo/Midget angle still going on on RAW? Isn't this why they have Superstars or ECW now? This is pure crap and instead of wasting 3 or 4 minutes on it, why not give us a longer match up somewhere, or a promo for someone to try and get them over. I can't understand how the WWE wastes valuable TV time on this crap, it really bugs me.

Okay, more info on WWE Breaking Point

Apparently, it won't only be submission matches. Some of the big title matches will also include an I Quit Match, and possibly a Last Man Standing (that part is speculation on my part).

Not sure if anyone picked up the new WCW DVD, I got it the other day and just finished with Disc 1 which was the bio on WCW (discs 2 and 3 are matches) and I'm very disappointed in it. I mean it was good but they didn't cover A LOT of things especially some of the mistakes WCW made that started their fall (like the Sting/Hogan match or Bischoff getting fired). They talked a lot about Hogan coming in and the nWo obviously, but they didn't talk about signing Bret Hart to his big deal and how they wasted him. The only wrestlers they talked about with any length besides Hogan was Goldberg, Hall and Nash. The whole thing just felt rushed or they just wanted to keep in under 2 hours long.

If anyone saw the ECW Rise and Fall DVD, it's nothing like it where in the ECW one they have bios on some of the top guys and talk about what they did and some big angles, none not on the WCW one. I'd still pick up the DVD if you were a WCW fan especially for the matches because there are some really good ones but I can't imagine myself sitting down and watching the bio disc again, and if I do I'd probably just skip to the part where Turner buys WCW because the beginning stuff is kind of boring.

It's too bad because I would have loved an epic 5 disc set in which the first 2 discs are just a complete bio of the company and the othe 3 are of matches.

Too bad about Misterio, he had considerably shrunk over the past year which led me to believe that he is/was off the performance enhancers. This could be a case of him taking recreational drugs I suppose, but remember what I said the other day about some of the younger guys getting pushed and how I had a "hunch?"

Do you think Jeff failed a drug test or is this just part of a return he may have (or something along those lines)? I thought that maybe CM Punk's discussion of Jeff's drug issues to open up Smackdown may have been some foreshadowing but I could be way off base on that. Thoughts?
