No problem. I've been hyping that website any chance I can get. It's truly awesome, especially if you're a Batman nerd and have some time to kill. I suggest anyone to check out some of the Podcasts they do, they're pretty good and available on itunes now.

The last one talked about some of the Batman movies that were in development before Nolan got the green light for Batman Begins. The plot for Batman 5 entitled Batman Legacy (which would have happened if Batman & Robin didn't kill the franchise for 8 years) sounded like it could have been pretty cool. Don't get me wrong I'm glad it never happened because we never would have gotten the Nolan films but it had a lot of potential.

I'd be more impressed with the site if they had "Lynch Shuemaker (sp?)" petition, but it is good.

I wish Batman Beyond had better marketing. That show was amazing. I'm also a firm believer that BAS and the subsequent series, (JL, JLU, etc.) have become the definitive version of Batman, more so than even the Nolan films. May Bruce Timm and Kevin Conroy live forever.

Schuemacker's (yeah I spelt his name wrong too haha) original uncut verison of Batman Forever was actually pretty good and dark too (yes I'm a Batnerd and have read the original script and have seen some of the deleted scenes). But the studio made him cut it to be more kid friendly because they were more interested in toy sales and didn't want negative backlash after Batman Returns. I still think Batman Forever is a pretty good film and he doesn't deserve to get crap for that. But he's fair game for Batman & Robin but he has apologized and owned up to it in interviews about that movie. Say what you want about him but without him there's no Nolan films. I know he wanted to do a Batman Forever Directors Cut verison for DVD much like the Superman 2 Directors Cut but for whatever reason Warner Bros hasn't given him the ok with it. Try to look for that column on the website about the uncut verison of Batman Forever though, its good reading.

B:AS was just epic from the stories to the look. I mean the whole series was just great. I should really get those on DVD one of these days.

Thank you. She has a nice body but something about her attitude spoils it for me. Watching her in the first transformers made me want to claw my eyes..... Although to be fair pretty much everything about transformers was way over the top and downright horrible.

I haven't been following lately, but has Nolan even been confirmed for the third film, I mean, has he signed on yet? I read in an interview before The Dark Knight where he stated that he will not use what he deemed as "fictional" characters in his version of Batman, and he specifically noted The Penguin and Catwoman. This is interesting if true.

Nonetheless, I'm not a fan of the Catwoman role at all in Batman, but I think Meagan Fox fits the character to a tee. Probably more so than Michelle Phifer.

No Nolan hasn't even signed on to do a 3rd film yet. Nothing is confirmed or official about a 3rd film at all. Nolan is busy working on his new movie right now.

I wish they'd use a villain that hasn't been done yet.

I'd love to see Killer Croc.

Well any villian they use has to be set in Nolan's 'real world' of Gotham. I do think Nolan could make the Penguin and/or The Riddler work.

Some of the better rumors I heard for characters was The Penguin he could have him be an arm's dealer for the mob (like how he was in the comics), not some freak raised by penguins in the sewers. The Riddler could be a 'Seven' type serial killer who leaves clues of his next victims and Batman has to use his detective skills to find him.

I also heard that Batman 3, could be a type of Pulp Fiction like movie where there are a bunch of non linear short stories that somehow all connect at the end. This way Batman can fight a bunch of small time villians in one movie. Nolan could make something like that work because basically all his movies but The Dark Knight have all been fast backs/flash forwards that all come together at the end.

Again these are all rumors/speculation I've heard, I doubt any of it is true considering a script or story isn't even in the works yet.

If Nolan wants to see someone completely steal the show from Bale again, then go all out with the cash and cast Johnny Depp as The Riddler. It's scary how much he fits into that character. Everything about him. But if Nolan isn't even confirmed for a return, then Meagan Fox definitely isn't official. Either that or Nolan has already privately said "no" and they've got someone else going in that direction. No Nolan = trash.

Trust me if Nolan had said no by now then we would have heard about it because WB would be working hard to get a director to try and push Batman 3 out by 2011 for a nice 3 year gap in between each movie. As it's looking right now if Nolan comes back he'd be looking at a 2012 or 2013 release.

WB is giving Nolan has time to work on his next movie, Inception, and hoping he'll agree to another Batman. They're trying not to rush him because they know he's the guy they want directing. Inception was part of the deal Nolan worked out with WB for him to come back and make TDK.

Although I'm not a big fan of the third installation in the previous Batman series... I thought Jim Carey did a great job in the role of The Riddler. If he can pull it off then Johnny Depp, in a much deeper character (as expected working with Nolan) would Albert Pujols it.

I hope so. With Nolan on board there is a 0% chance of flop.

While I do think Jim Carrey was at times over the top with The Riddler, overall I thought he did a good job with the role. The one who really hurt the movie was Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face. Instead of being a coldhearted criminal, he played it off like The Riddler's wackey side kick and it hurt the movie (among other things but I still enjoy the movie as a whole). Although you can blame the script and director too for that.

Although it would never happen, it would be interesting to see what a matured Carrey would do with The Riddler character with Nolan directing him.

Obviously I agree with Depp being cast as The Riddler, I doubt it would happen. Nolan seems to stay away from obvious casting choices. You can't really argue with Nolan as whoever he casts in the next film, you have to give him complete faith in the decision.
