You can get Elements for free, with the option for PVP at a cost of free and the opportunity to acquire rare cards for a one-time cost of free.
I just got into it, but I don't find it expensive. It is on par or cheaper than many hobbies IMO. You can find packs online for like $3-3.50/pack (sometimes even less), which is way cheaper than most football cards (which i find to have become an expensive hobby), and you can actually do stuff with these cards aside from look at them. I only get like a fat pack from each set though, so I could see it being expensive if you got a booster box for each one or whatever.
I know that. I was just saying how he could get M:tG cards for "free." There is nothing wrong with this game, i just prefer M:tG, that's all.
Wait till you try and get competitive. It starts to get costly. Believe me I love(d) M:TG and still have a ****load of cards that I'll dust off from time to time for a game or 10. This is a blast though, and I think they're just getting started.

That's my deck at the moment, I beat lvl 3 80% of the time and get Elemental Mastery about 60% of the time. Farming the **** outta coins right now.
Not bad I went with a 60 sized Rainbow Deck that beats 3's about 65-70% of the time depends on how long it takes to get a decent hand. I'm tinkering with it right now actually thinking of changing to a Phase shield Deck.
I won a second rare in a random spin tonight! Too bad I don't play red. I'm struggling to get 1500 gold so I can upgrade a card.
Mine's a pretty boring deck to play, but it's also pretty quick to win usually. Love it when I draw 3 devourers on my first draw.
Someone on the Chat helped me make a sweet farm deck to farm 3's Time Mark 6 Grabnoids 6 Shriekers 2 Stone Dragons 16 Stone Pillars Demolishes pretty much every 3 deck except for the ones that hold Devourers. So far for Rare cards I have 3 or 4 not bad
I think I've only pulled 3 rares, I got the death and entropy weapons, and the earth mark shield. I haven't tried level 3's yet, I only beat the level 2's like 70% of the time so I'm trying to make some more money to buy some cards. edit: just tried lvl 3 for the first time. lost the first 2, on the third try i had a lycanthrope on the first turn, on the second turn i mutated it and it turned into a colossal dragon with healing and I totally owned him haha
when you get your score to 500 you can pick it. That's how I got the entropy one. it's under the quests menu...
Been there, done that, picked the one for death because I was, at that time, running a poison deck. Not anymore dammit!
I'm at 3197 score, just under 1400 coin. Ready to upgrade my third card. The non sexy card (Obsidian Pillar) that I upgraded is a huge boost when it shows up early, I think I'll be upgrading another in a bit.
I'm only at 547 or something. Still not sure I can take the deck I have any further. I am using entropy/darkness. when I get a good draw it is good, but don't really have the firepower of some other colors
That deck I'm running is a real powerhouse against lvl 3 opponents. Now I have a second Tower to help speed it up. It's kinda boring to run, but I'm trying to rake in the dough right now and get competitive against the top 50 decks.
I HATE a few cards. I added in darkness just for 'steal' because I was tired of some of those rediculous weapons that destroy 3 pillars or deal 3 damage to target creature or heal 5 life per turn
I'm working a straight darkness deck, and changed my element to Earth, so's I can burrow me devourers. It kicks lvl 3 ***, but is very weak against top 50 decks, with their souped-up cards. Heavy poison decks give me trouble from time to time, too. I like fire, and will look to incorporate some fire cards (especially that sweet shield and fire bolt, much better than darkness' drain life card) when I get more money in my coffers.
They do still steal quantum while burrowed. That's why they're so awesome, especially if you can use nightfall, then they damage, too! You just need some way of getting Earth quantum, that's why I did the metamorphosis and switched to Earth. Now I don't need a rock pillar or quantum pillar to get Earth quantum.

Haha bro I was thinking about running this. Devourers crush my Mono-Earth Deck I'm thinking of throwing in a Quantom Pillar just to counteract those damn devourers.
