Because most not all view football as a "business" and treat it accordingly. Ronnie is a smart guy he's not gonna let the only chance at getting paid.....go by him. After this contract is over he will be on the decline and he knows it.....privately and deep down inside he is licking his chops....... and I don't blame him

Did you watch last season? He was one of the key players that helped us make the playoffs. What is an Elite back? I mean Ronnie Brown made the probowl last year. He had 916 yards while coming off and ACL tear and sharing the ball with 2 other backs. I think he is an elite back. I mean the O-line is a big part of the running game but what we did last year with the wildcat and every thing you just cant throw any old running back in there. They have to be special.
According to Armando, there has been contact by Ronnie's agent but nothing is really in the works as Armando believes both sides are doing what's best for each, taking a hands off approach and seeing how things go. On the RB to Denver for Marshall requested trade.... why would Denver trade for another running back when they already have six and one of those includes Moreno, their first round pick.
What does he have to lick his chops over? Don't you read this forum? He is not elite according to so many people, how is he going to land a big contract? The guy is a team player, thats all i have seen from him since college. I don't think that will change with him, and i do think he will take less to stay here then he would to go elsewhere. He enjoys it here, even with people all over his back lol.
