It's not a question of enjoying, it was more a question of "for general viewing" thephins does have some under 18 folks who visit..

JP can get lost in the "JT/Wake" shuffle under a blanket of "well he cannot do that again"..

I mean, who can disagree with "when you see me you see hardcore" in re Joey Porter?

    Dude is hardcore.

i know earlier this offseason we were talking about JT being able to move inside and play more of a rover backer, i cant remember where it was but i read that they have some plans to move him inside in situations.

Jake Long has recently endorsed Mr. Wakes skills, i know what iam gonna get from Joey and Jason, I have to see wake on an NFL field, but if this dude pans out, boy oh boy, the things that they will be able to do. Dangerous.

The vid was great. I just turned off the sound.
He's a good player. Hope he & JT burn up other teams offense for us.

i was thinking that you have to keep crowder on the field if your gonna try to get Jason Joey and wake on the field at the same time, we need the presense of a true inside linebacker to play the blood zone in those situations.

I'd like to see Joey, Jason, Derek, and Channing in those situations. what do you think?

Channing is not that good in coverage, I'd be happier with:

JT/JP/Starks/Wake and Y Bell playing down in the box.

three of those guys can play up or down, we could really disguise some coverages with that package.

I'd put Wake as a DE believe it or not, simply because he can (hopefully) generate a pass rush just on a one on one matchup.

Or even crazier, Wake as a DT...

I think if JT & JP stay healthy and Channing steps it up some more. We will be THE force to be reckoned with.
I can't wait for the season.

Can't wait until next Monday night DDebby, it's been a long offseason.

Last yr we had JT leaving to keep us occupied, then we had the surprise Pennington/cut and we signed him (can you believe he hasn't been here a single year as of yet?) and then the Beck controversy.

This offseason has been nearly silent by comparison.

Anywho, next Monday night...dolphins football drought...ends...

from strictly a 34 perspective in obvious passing situations, you give me langford and merling on the ends, starks rushin at the nose, jason, joey, derek and crowder at the linebackers and imo that would be the best front 7 we could get on the field in those situations, who drops and who rushes will be interesting.

Holy sh## i just realized that the hall of game is on tonight, yes, a little scouting tonight brother.

I think we are going to run a "eagle" defense alot Dj, sort of one or two Dlinemen, everyone else is standing up the rams used to run that back in the late 80's.

And the reason why you'd put a 260ish pd OLB at DT is because the matchup problems, JT and JP will require a double team, leaving the Guard to block the OLB/DT one on one.

    :hi5:

I've got to work the DVR as a trial run for tonight's game.

Thanks to Medi we can watch the Jags game live "but" I plan to record the NFLN replay for something to watch during the week.

i expect some serious analysis of our players from that game brother, being able to rewind is everything. i dont have that luxury, no nfl network for me.

Wait, we play the jags next monday nite, its not nationally televised?

Iam not sure if i see that alignment brother, we lose a lot of size there...i think with my front 7 you can bring enough pressure thru blitz schemes without leaving ourselves suseptible, interesting though

Not as far as I know Dj, NFLN is replaying the game sometime that week, it is only live in the S Florida area.

Bro Medi's stream is a life saver for those with no NFLN, heck even WQAM is not acting right, the streamer no workie.

for a change of pace on the whole "Joey Porter is hardcore" thing, here he is running the charity auction for the fishing tournament this past summer:
