    Im not getting some of the angst about Smith at 57...ireland valued Pat White more than Sean Smith..pretty simple imo.

    I wanted Sean Smith at #44, so if that had happened, I would have taken Kruger.

    It's more that most people think we should have taken him at #56 instead of trading back and risk missing him.

    Sean Smith has been impressive so far at a position of need.
    Additionally he was a great value pick as many gurus were predicting he would be drafted much earlier.

    I was certainly surprised he was still there.

    Perhaps a better question would have been who should we have picked instead of Pat White ? :wink2:

    In the post draft period, GRT8 mentioned they had him rated as a later pick as in the mid third round or so.

    I think Sean Smith may be a little overrated by some at this point. I like the pick, but I'm not sure he is going to be as good as Davis. His ball skills are excellent, but I see tightness in his hips, and I think theres some wasted motion when he changes direction.
