yeah but he can become an affiliate. Either way I think legacy needs to be bigger then it is. They have it now where orton is really hated. So I think they can really build some good storylines out of that.

I love the team of Jericho and Edge. And glad they can show up on any show.

On the flip side I'm so freakin bored of Triple H, Cena and Orton in the main events all the time. Would it have killed the WWE to have Miz beat Cena?

Mark it down main event for Summer Slam Orton vs Triple H vs Cena.

yeah im with you on that one. I found myself hoping for an mvp miz matchup. I like both of those guys and think they should definately be in the running more for hte championship.
I am also with you on the jericho edge team, should be great to watch. Hopefully they can start to rebuild the tag team titles around it.

Quite frankly, I think should have sent the Hart Foundation to Raw and extend Legacy through there.

I don't know, I think they'd get lost in a big group like that. They're better off on their own for now.

I think Legacy will only be around until Summer Slam (I can only hope at least), then I think they should give Ted Dibiase a mega push with a long IC run, as I think he's going to be a big part of the WWE future.

I still can't buy Cody Rhodes as any type of title threat. The kid looks like a high schooler. I just can't take him seriously.

    ABSOLUTELY NOT!

The Hart Dynasty is fine as it is. They have so much more going for them than the douchetard twins that follow Randy Boreton around.

If anything, they should add another member that looks/sounds/wrestles differently than those three, but do not merge the Harts with Legacy, it would water down what the Harts can and will accomplish.

The Colons would be interesting, but they might be too (ethnic) for Orton's clan. But a fued for Dibiase/Rhodes against the COlons would be good. Both teams come from wrestling backgrounds and are already on opposite sides of the wrestling spectrum in terms of fan support/heeldom. I also wouldn't mind seeing Goldust start messing with his little brother.

How cool would it be to see Goldie start playing his erotic mindgames at ringside while his brother is wrestling? Having him rub Dibiase's leg while Cody is in the ring embarassed? Randy and Ted tell him that he better get his brother under control or they will do it for him.

Then, you either have Ted/Randy end up beating down Goldie in front of Cody, or Cody joins in, or Goldust kidnaps Cody and paints him up to look just like him, thus embarassing him in front of his buddies.

I don't know, I think it would be a fun little side fued for them to have.

Edge hurt his ankle at a house show over the weekend, tore his achilles. Looks like he might be out for over a year. If true that really sucks. I'm an Edge fan but the guy does seem to get hurt a lot. Now it officially kills the best angle the WWE had with him and Jericho.

yeah, those two, floating from show to show with the tag titles was going to revitalize tag teal wrestling. i am bummed about that. those two are about the only thing keeping me watching WWE. give or take Maryse and Mickie James. :)

i'm thinking they could use the Hart Dynasty in a similar role and push them up the card, but they will probably go with Rhodes and Dibiase instead.

yeah and WWE can not admit to his injury for atleast another week as they taped smackdown for next week already...so we wont know what they plan on doing with the titles for a while.

    A random thought......

Since Matt Hardy is now on Smackdown again, they could continue the Hardy rivalry. Then, on a PPV, you could have the Tag Team Champions put out an open challenge. During the issuing of that challenge, you see Jeff and Matt brawling on the entrance ramp, heading towards the ring, and inadvertantly going accepting the match.

    Just a thought.

You know what would be a pretty cool idea but there's no way the WWE would do it but why doesn't Jericho come out on RAW and say because Edge is hurt he's going to hold open try outs and the winner will be his new tag team partner and champion. Have wrestlers try to impress Jericho etc. Have McMahon come out and say Jericho hasn't defended the titles in a long time and is ordering Jericho and his new partner to defend them at Summer Slam and then at Summer Slam Jericho's new partner would turn out to be a returning Shawn Michaels, making Michaels a heel again saying how Jericho made him see the light and no one has talked or gave a damn about him since WM.

Or if that doesn't work I'd give the other belt to Christian and then have the team of Jericho and Christian break up in time for WM for a killer match.

Jericho and Christian could pull it off as the same type sneaky heel team as Edge/ Y2J is, to keep a good angle going.

and it's not like they are using Christian for anything else important.

The WWE actually has an interesting angle going on with Ted Jr. and the Million Dollar Man. Hopefully it won't be the obvious bait and switch where Ted Jr. turns on his father. Hopefully they give Ted the W against Orton. And start the break up of the worst stable in wrestling history besides the Oddities of course.

I like The Million Dollar Man, I always thought he should have gotten a title run back in the late 80s.

He'd make a great mentor/manager to a young wrestler. There's still money (pun intended) in the Million Dollar belt gimmick.

I hope they do. Ever since his last suspension, the worst thing he has ever done was end up drunk at the airport (and was rather cooperative with the authorities). More so, he actually puts on a great match, especially with wrestlers who have that ability (like Edge, Matt Hardy, and others).

Not to mention that he's one of the most decorated wreslters in the company's history.

I still think Ted should have won. It would plant seeds of a turn and a future storyline, it always pushes him towards breaking out, turns him into a threat and not just a lackey or mid card jobber like Cody Rhodes is. Plus even if Orton loses clean he would still keep his heat. It's a no lose situation that I think the WWE blew.

I also think Jericho should give the other belt to Christian or HBK. Giving Legacy the tag titles would just kill the division. They're jokes and the fans really don't take them seriously at all.

This might have been the best Raw in two years. For me, EVERYTHING worked. I absolutely LOVED the Million Dollar Man in his spot tonight. The referencing to Dusty Rhodes was priceless (no pun intended). If only they had shown classic footage of Dibiase and Virgil beating the holy hell out of Dusty and Dustin from way back when could it have gotten any better.

I actually agree with Orton winning in this spot. He fed Dibiase enough offense to make him look good and the acknowledgement afterwards was perfect. It legitimizes Ted in many fans' eyes. Well played.

Hell, I even enjoyed the HHH-Cena match, even though the conclusion was inevitable. Sometimes you just have to have a no contest type ending, and this is an example of where it works.

Edge being inured is a bummer and clearly, they are going to drop the straps well before they should, but hey, injuries happen and it can only lead to bigger things for someone else who fills in for Edge on the roster.

Carlito's beatdown of Primo was interesting. I expected them to continue tagging for awhile, but I am certainly interested in where it goes. Those guys can throw and take punches better than most. Great intesity on the beatdown.

Hell even Mark Henry was enjoyable...two weeks in a row! If Raw can continue to advance storylines and characters like this every week, I may have to make it appointment television again.

    Outstanding work.

It would be perfect if next week Dusty is the GM and pulls a reverse on Cody ad Ted did to his kid tonight. Or made Cody face Dustin or something to that effect.

Okay my ONE bone of contention was the awful dubbing tonight. I don't know ho wmany times I saw Michael Cole and Lawler sitting at ringside where one guy's mouth was moving and the other one's wasn't. I didn't realize it was a taped show until I saw that for the first time. WWE is usually pretty good about that stuff, but it was bad this week.

But a small gripe on an otherwise enjoyable show for me.

HBK would be a rather interesting turn of events.

They should also have an opposing tag team that they could feud with for a while......

RAW was very good last night, I'm glad I didn't read any of the spoilers before hand.

I do like the idea of Dusty Rhodes being the GM next week and trying to punish Ted Jr. And trying to talk some sense into Cody. Plus it would be cool to see a segment with Goldust and Dusty too.

They haven't announced it yet. My guess is the only reason they announced the Ted Dibiase one was because it was to be taped and the spoilers would have leaked either way.

They have a ton of road agents that travel with the crew every week, so they could, in theory, keep this up for quite awhile. Steamboat, Dusty, Malenko, Arn Anderson (that would be a treat) and many others.

Hell, they already used one active member of the roster, I wouldn't be surprised if wrestlers like HBK, HHH, Orton, Cena etc. are used in that capacity either.

Not to mention that whereever they go, there is typically a legend somewhere within driving distance that they could pluck out of realtive obscurity for a night.

Plus, they could always do the tired angle where "the fans" are the GM and vote on matches, stipulations etc. Basically taking the cyber sunday concept to a Raw.

They have plenty of options to keep it rolling. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Freddie Prinze Jr. or other Hollywood fanboy (Like Michael Clark Duncan or Method Man) get into it either.

And if they want to BLOW the lid off the place...throw a bunch of loot at...The Rock.

Or Savage. Imagine McMahon announcing the Macho Man as GM for the night (or even better for RAW for good)? Just the interviews he does alone would draw huge ratings.

But I'm sure we'll see Austin, Hogan, maybe Jimmy Hart or other HOFers before it ends.

I thought I would hate the rotating GM concept, but I actually like it. It adds some unpredictability to an otherwise stagnant RAW product.

The new faces also help quite a bit. Swagger has star written all over him.
