You made a couple of posts that may have been meant as a good natured ribbing, and knowing your track record Im sure thats the way they were meant, but when you do that you tread a line. We like having you around here just as we like having all of our members but be accountable for your posts bro.

Its not about "making peace with Jet fans" or any other teams fans or having a G rated board. Its about having FOOTBALL discussions instead of ripping on someone because of their fan loyalty.

Having quit this board many times myself, I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the subject. If Chris needs to go, then let him go. I feel like he will be back. He is one of the best posters on this board, period. I value his opinion much moreso than so called "gurus," and others who feel the need to look down on Chris, myself and others, simply because we tend to push the envelope a little bit (as much as it can be pushed on a message board anyways).

No one on here can question Chris's loyalty and dedication to this site. The man spends each and every Saturday Night putting on a radio show that doesn't seem to get a ton of support, all in the name of entertaining the ones that do show up. He has opened his home up to fellow posters in their time of need and is one of the VERY few people I talk to outside of this site. Why? because he is a very real person and a very good person.

He needs a break, let him have it.

Besides, he is right, Jets fans suck (including you 124).

Brother Chris I can ensure you that this staff does not go out it's way to be pricks. We try very hard to keep a great family atmosphere here at all times. We bend over backwards to work with our members here. We truly appreciate everything you bring to site bro.

 

hey Chris. Take some time but make sure you're back. We need posters like you. I too have a hard time being nice to Jets or Patsies fans. Its kind of like being a pit bull and one day the family decides to bring home a kitten for their daughter. Sure every ounce of you just wants to crush the kitty's skull between your teeth but if you do you know your going to get the newspaper to the nose so you dont. Still the family lets you roam outside and there are plenty of kittiens outside that you can maul and at the end of the day still come home to your family.

a dude with a best friend here who's a jet fan can't abide by THAT guys buddy being here, a guy that is provided a platform to practice his radio craft and perhaps further his real life carreer.. a place where the webmasters have catered to his every need.. a place where he is obviously loved and cared for by the staff and membership...

and because he isn't allowed to harrass a jet fan he's now leaving in a hissy fit..

I would like to clarify that the site, while we thank it for all the support it has given us really hasn't done much on the way of "giving Sick or myself an outlet" for his radio show. HE himself is responsible for putting the show together. While again I cant tell you how greatful I am personally to have people behind us for the show (all 3 of you..lol) the threads about the show arent even stickied.

 

see now, I did not know that Eric, I was making an uninformed assumption, it is not something I have been involved in.
