His agent, James "Bus" Cook, said he had no idea where Favre was in the process of filing the paperwork that would finalize his retirement. I hope he doesn't come back. I could barely get through all of the 'Brett is gone' news. Everyone acted like he was dead. I don't want to go through that bull again. I don't seem to remember this much attention when Dan retired. Do you?
Sigh. And this was supposed to the end of the 'will he won't he' nonsense that has plagued the NFL coverage the last few years. Somewhere Peter King is on his knees praying to Favre's Jock in the shrine he's built for him over the years.
If Favre doesnt retire after all this I think he loses a ton of respect in the public. Personally I already lost a ton of respect for him from all his stupid training camp games last year. Just go sell Levi's Brett, nobody cares about your soap opera.
