Within a document. I cannot get it to highlight and right click offers me no options to save images. I tried the html option, but that only carries text. I have found some old documents that are illustrated, but can't get at the images.. please help.

    I use this converter.
    http://www.print-driver.com/howto/convert_pdf_to_jpeg.html

Convert the pdf to jpeg and then you can grab the images.

I want to be able to pull an image out of the page, to be able to use the images and I can't get at them. If I can get the program offered up to me by Finformation working for me, I can convert the whole page to jpeg and crop out what I want. I should have asked this question long ago. Thanks for the interest, I appreciate you wanting to help.

all I have available is "marquee zoom" and as soon as I release the mouse, the shaded box disappears. Thanks, there is other cool stuff on the page.

Marty, you can use the PrtSc button on your keyboard to capture a screenshot and then paste it into a photo editing program like Paint or GIMP. You would need to crop it and then save as a .jpg, .gif or .png.

If that doesn't work, if you can't get the program that Finformation posted to work and you're strapped for time, email them to me and I'll take care of it for you.

    This works.

The converter I posted works too but it creates a watermark. The free one used to be clean.

    I would use like2god method.

If you're using Adobe Reader 8, you can just drag a box around the image, right-click and copy it.

Exactly what I thought of when I read the first post. I use Ctrl+Print Scrn and paste into paint all the time at work. Works great!
