Best press conference of the year; glad I finally went back to my Sun Sports roots for this game. I'd of missed it. "We're going to take care of business on Friday night."

He's basically ready for GAME 7.

 

LOL how old were you for Ike? 7 years old or something? Ike is an ooooold timer.. I loved that about Riley, he would develop a scrub, turn him in to gold, let him go and watch that player turn back to scrub after the new team tripled his contract.. Riley pulled a Scott Mitchell on the NBA a lot back during his early Heat days.

 

Good to see Heat fans showing the same hate for the Hawks that Celtics fans have for them.

 

I will tell you this guys... Game 7's and the Miami Heat do NOT go well together. It's like mixing a psycho chick with an emo guy. They just don't work well together.

I hate game 7's.. But maybe this time we can win on the road, heck we couldn't win a game 7 at home if our life depended on it.

 

And this may shock everyone but I don't think I can watch a Heat game 7.. I can't deal with a last second loss again.. I'm starting to sweat and shiver as I recall all the game 5 and 7 elimination games we have lost.. I think I need a hug.

 

Wouldnt surprise me. Just like the NBA Finals.

 

Honestly, do we want to win this series, with Wade not at 100% and our patchwork of a team? We cant even handle the Hawks, we will be crushed by Cleveland. That would be a lot more painful to watch.

We can match up with Cleveland. And Wade will rise to the occasion to compete against Bron. HE is not going to score under 35 if we can get by Atlanta. We have no shot but Wade will put up a show for the entire world to see.

 

No way man. Plus think about it, theyre having all the time in the world to rest the longer this series has gone on. We show up in Cleveland, looking all beat up and tired...I dont even wanna think about it.

Never underestimate the power of the Dwade.

D. Wade on the national stage against the league MVP. Dwade the guy playing with a skelton crew who feels he deserved the award. Dwade competing against his friend. The two faces of the NBA going head to head. It will be a compelling series and we will have a chance to win some games. Call me the dumbest idiot in the world but I think we can beat Cleveland if we play sound basketball and Wade plays at 2006 Finals level.

i still think we got game 7. my buddy gets on me because i swore this series has been fixed since game one. i just figure with no lebron or kobe on tv, a seven game series with wade is the best thing for the nba.

me and my buddy smoke a lot though, so i could just be high or paranoid.

Lol, that's one thing about me... I was one of those kids who knew every player, position, jersey number, etc. of the entire league. NFL and NBA.

Even though I didn't quite understand the game of course.

Put it this way: aside from Wade and Zo, Glen Rice and Steve Smith are my favorite Heat players ever. Timmy, Vo, Ronny Siekly, Thunder Dan, and Poz round out my top 10.

We'd of never won a title if it wasn't for that idiot forgetting to pick up a player option, Miami getting a ton of cap space, signing Odom, then moving him in a deal for Shaq a year later.

I stopped reading right there. Nobody is gifted a Championship. Dirk was gifted a chance to seal the game at the FT line and CLANKED.

Wade drove to the basket and got fouled, repeatedly. The saddest part about the gift is that the Mavericks did everything in their power to lose that series, especially when you consider that they were far more talented than the Heat. Wade rose above every player and single handily kept the Heat in those close games. Gifted my ***.

 

Your fellow heat fan said it best that David Stern will have wade shoot alot free throw so you guys can face lebron. Im just agreeing. Just like he wanted Shaq to win a championship in Miami. Got to sell the NBA somehow. Wade got too many calls in that game to win the championship. Im not saying he sucks im just saying he got to many ticky tack calls for a finals game.

I'd like to apologize to everyone here for being such a cranky Heat fan. Last year at this time the NJ Nets and Bobcats had over TWICE as many victories as we finished with. We were downright pathetic.

Who the hell are we to complain about being down 3-2 in the first round? Jeez, Section is right the future is BRIGHT. We need a good bench and one more player and this team will be OK.

IMO as a heat homer or not, Wade means the most to his squad, hence he should be MVP.That does not make him the best player in the NBA, top 5 for sure though. As for the whole ref nonsense thing, yes it is true that Stars get calls, but that does NOT mean the rest of the game is rigged due to them getting to the line. You want the superstars to stop getting the ball? Get him out of the paint keep the ball out of his hands, on and on. A good coach will make someone else beat his team not the star. Blaming every win that you dont agree with is like blaming your trojan for having a hole in it. It happens.
